About This Listing
30sqm 2 p studio in the heart of the most wanted area in Bairro Alto: you are 10 min walking from the nightlife, typical portuguese restaurants, fado houses, the poshy Príncipe Real, and Chiado, but in a quiet st. Tram 28 stop 2 just 200meters away
This is a studio, located on a ground floor of an historic building
I decorated it to make you feel comfortable, I used some fine decorations, the point is making the studio like a hotel suite, but with a kitchen, which is always a plus
The studio is ideal for two. it can receive a third person in the sofa bed, but remember that it is 30sq meters and no walls forming bedrooms. For a couple with a child is good.
You do not get many natural light because the space only has two windows, one that leads to the back patio and the other is featured on the front door. You can open it as a regular window, and from here you have good natural light. My experience with guests tell me, and you can see the reviews, thati is not a problem, because you will be outside most of the time, some of them only are at the apartment during the night. For 3 to 4 nights it is perfect.
You have a clean and comfortable space, with tv. (website hidden), all kitchen's necessary to cook and you will be in a quiet street. I have this apartment for 5 years now for the same purpose, and it has plenty of bookings, and you can see the reviews. I am a experienced host and through the years my guests have teach me to be even better, I value their opinions and well being very much.
Very well located, quiet area of Bairro Alto, tram 28 2 minutes walking, Baixa-Chiado subway exit at 800meters.
ITts on a ground floor, so don't expect much of a view. But the view is Lisbon itself!
The ap. has two windows, one of them featured on the door with plenty of natural light.
It's a very good base to explore the city, in short walking distance from many famous spots in Bairro Alto/Chiado/Baixa.
This is a noble area with two main palaces, one of them just in front of the apartment.
Very close to all the action, bars, art galleries, museums, shopping area, but in a quiet street.

This apartment is located in Bairro Alto, but Príncipe Real/São. Bento zone, which means that you won't find any bars in the street or the next ones, but the bar area is 10 minutes walking. You have Igreja/Church das Mercês a fiew meters away. You have Praça das Flores 5 minutes walking, a wonderfull square whith supermarket, restaurants and pharmacy. Yoy have a 28 tram stop just 200 meters away from the apartment. From the apartment you can explore on foot whole Bairro Alto, Chiado, Bica and Santa Catarina neighbourhoods, also Príncipe Real.
Tram nr 28 stop fiew minutes from the apartment - recommended if you want to go to Alfama or Castle. To see Bairro Alto, Chiado and Baixa, no need to take the tram, is quite near on foot.
from the airport the best exist station is Baixa-Chiado (12-15 minutes walking)
Please leave the apartment as you found it.
I do not want old shoes, or clothes, or any other things you might want to leave behind.
Take garbage out when you check out. This part of town does not have enough garbage containers, sou you leave the trash in a closed bag just outside the front door. No need to separate trash for recycling, this part of city is not prepared for that, unfortunatelly.
It is a residential building, so, no parties aloud.
Smoke on the pateo.
The reservation was canceled 20 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
After staying a few days in historical Cascais/Estoril we had no idea what to expect in Lisbon, needless to say we were pleasantly surprised!
From arriving at Baixa Chiado metro station we were quickly introduced to the crazy hilly streets of Lisbon. Ana's place is a 10 minute walk from the metro station (up and then downhill) or a 2 minute taxi (€5) and from her directions we found the place very easily.
On arrival (early) Ana was actually just leaving the apartment after cleaning and was very friendly and quick to offer help.
The apartment itself is small but very homely and comfortable, perfect for myself and my husband to come back and relax after the days of endless sightseeing.
The wifi worked great and there is everything you need there for a short stay (towels, bed linen, iron, fridge etc)
The area itself is very central and extremely easy to get around by using public transport (once you get your bearings!)
Ana was especially accommodating to us when a friend unexpectedly came to stay and for a nominal fee, Ana was happy to let her stay the night with us and even brought over fresh bed linen.
All in all it was a perfect choice for us!
Ana's place in Lisbon is a nice cozy and colourful apartment. It's close to tram 28 and it's an easy walk to Santos train station and even Baixa is within walking distance. There is a small supermarket nearby and plenty of restaurants. It's a nice apartment to relax and it's actually pretty quiet inside the apartment, so no problem sleeping. We enjoyed our stay!
Really nice appartment in the center of Lisbon. I would completly recommand it as I would recommand the hospitality of Ana.
When we arrived, it was really easy to get the key and discover this wonderful tiny place full of colors. I would suggest it not to go there with more than two adults, except with a little child. Everything was clean and there were little post-it (notes) with some explanation for the wifi, taxi, and so on or even a guide to visit Lisbon.
The location is close to almost everything in about a 10min walk or with the tram. The metro (Rato) is in reachable in a 10min walk. Easy access from the airport as well.
If you have any question, Ana answers it in the hour. She even booked a taxi for us in Portuguees.
I don't have anything bad to say concerning this appartment and would suggest it to all my friends travelling to Lisbon.
Thank you Ana ;)
