The local area is becoming more and more populated with restaurants, bars, coffee shops and breweries. Not more then 1.5 miles away and you're in the heart of the historic and shopping district of Charleston.
Although parking can be noted as a "pain in the butt", us locals have our secret spots which I will be happy to share.
Parking at the condo is very easy as there is always ample spots available. If you're looking to leave your vehicle at the condo, Charleston has no shortage of taxis services. I recommend SCOOP since the owners are actually our neighbors and the rides are FREE (just tip the driver).
No smoking in unit. There are dedicated areas on the premise.
John was an excellent host and the condo is as great as advertised ( if not better). Everything was great. I liked the accommodations and the location was great.
There's a micro brewery and a gym across the park from the condo. You are only a 5 minute free scoop ride from the king street district. If you need to use uber you are only $5-6 ride from north end of king street district.
John provided ample info well in advance of my stay and stayed in touch throughout the process and duration of my visit.
My gf and I had a great time at John's condo. It's sleek and modern with a cool industrial vibe. The bedroom is cozy and gets dark and cozy. John also leaves extra bathroom things like soap and toothbrushes which helped since I had to replace my toothbrush halfway through our road trip. We checked out the roof and also enjoyed playing the acoustic guitar. The condo is also really close to some cool bars like the Royal American and Local 616 and a few mins drive from King st. We had a great time in Charlston and this place made it comfortable and cool.
Apartment was great. Bed was a bit too soft for our taste, but it is in no relation to the bigger picture. The flat is open and quiet and is a 4 minute drive to all the goodies on king street. Would definitely recommend. Thanks, John!
John's place was in a great location! It was only a minutes drive into the best parts of downtown and all the sightseeing. The apartment was so neat and clean. John was wonderful to work with. Highly recommend this place for your visit to Charleston!
John did a great job contacting us a week before our stay and providing us with all of the info that we might need (parking, wifi, etc.). The listing was just as described and within just a few minutes of downtown Charleston. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to stay again.
My wife, 1 y/o daughter and I had a wonderful time at John's place. Beautiful condo with all the amenities you could hope for. We would certainly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay for a reasonable price in Charleston!
The apartment was great, perfect for what we needed. It was easy to get to and John was easy to work with. If we ever come back to Charleston we'd stay there again.
