The space
This cozy Trailer is a 26 foot long free standing unit with its own outside living area designed for functional relaxation. You’ll have one true bedroom with a queen bed and two potential twin size beds that create a second ‘bedroom’; the couch folds open (this will make a bed that is a bit shorter, at the length of 5’7”, may not be suitable for taller people) and the dining table and chairs transform into a bed as well. The kitchen is fully equipped and has all necessary appliances, there is central heat and air-conditioning and a full bathroom with a toilet and bathtub. (Please be aware that the bathroom has a holding tank and some smell may occasionally be associated with that, this is common for RV’s and can be addressed easily when that happens). You have your own creek access, a private deck, a covered patio with a gazebo top housing a charcoal BBQ and a pizza oven.
You are surrounded by Live Oaks and an ever-changing flora with a large variety of cultivated and native plants. You can visit with our goats and say hi to them from the outside of the pen (please do not enter). You may spot our chickens as well, and sample farm fresh eggs seasonally. You might meet our dogs and cats as well during your stay. Take time to just relax and sit on the private deck and take in the breath taking view of the mountains around you.
The Santa Paula Punch Bowl hike trailhead is just a few hundred feet away.
Santa Paula is only 10 minutes away, with a variety of convenience stores, shopping centers, movie theatre, and museums.
Ojai is a 15 minute drive. Be inspired by art, taste selections from Ojai’s finest vineyards, indulge in a spa treatment, or play a round of golf.
Want to visit a beach town? Ventura beaches are a short 25 minute drive. Catch a boat to Channel Island National Park from there.

While our house is also located on the property, and it is visible from the trailer, your area is just for you, we don’t cross paths, unless you choose to, your accommodation is very private.
Please message us if you’d like to visit with our animals, we also host private animal encounters with other visitors, and we’d like to make sure everyone has their private space and time with them.

We welcome families with young children, all we ask is you make sure children behave in a way that is not loud and disruptive. Thank you for understanding!

Fun fact: I run a Hummingbird Sanctuary
I live on a beautiful little creek-side spot with my family, cats, dogs, goats, and a flock of chickens. This is also the home of The Hummingbird Sanctuary where I host the unique Tea with Hummingbirds experience.
This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see dozens of hummingbirds up close and learn about them!
