About this listing
I have rented to traveling nurses many times and it has always worked out! I am close to both hospitals and understand the logistics of the situation. The room looks a little different than the picture in regards to the bed and pictures.
This 5 bedroom house is a plush two story house on a quiet street. Kitchen is fully stocked, clean and ready to use. Your newer bathroom is upstairs, has an open stone shower and a clean towel for you to use. It is shared with myself and another roommate. Your room has two large windows, a desk, reading light and a ceiling fan. Bathroom is outside your room.
I am a teacher and have lived in this house for the past 14 years. My house hold is easy going, relaxing, yet friendly and helpful when needed. I have a great dog that will not bother/play with you unless you play with her! House is in the university district of Stockton near the University of the Pacific. Two blocks away is our "Miracle Mile" business area. It has restaurants, bars, coffee/tea house, some shopping and banks. I do have two roommates that are easy going as well...
The bus system is 2 blocks away. We have a grocery store 9 blocks away. This area is great for any UOP needs and/or simply passing through town.
Hammock, wifi, kitchen.
Interaction with Guests
I am very helpful with anyone traveling around our state and beyond, as I do so myself. When I am home I hang out in the front room talking, listening to music or simply relaxing. Sometimes I am up for a drink at the local establishments!!!
UOP is a 15 minute walk and is only 8 blocks away. It is a quiet area with a park and lake nearby. Parking on street. Read any of my many books, play with my tennis ball loving dog or walk down two blocks to the "Miracle Mile" for food, drinks and entertainment.
Bus stop is 4 blocks away.
Other Things to Note
Yosemite is 2.5 hours away and Napa is 1.5 hours away. Both easy drives and quite beautiful!!!
Can be warm when it is in the high 90's. We open windows and let the breeze do its job. :-)
Simply put everything back where it was found and to keep clean whatever it is you are using.
I am a constant traveler, always looking for someone new to meet and something new to experience. I have taught for 18 years and my schedule allows me to be out and about quite a bit. I am easy going and not hard to please...
My extra time is spent skiing, mtn biking, kayaking, running and throwing tennis balls to Coba!
