This home is lovely and everything is exactly as described. For our group of 6, the living room was the gathering space in the house, it fills with sunlight during the day and feels super cozy at night. Kitchen is big and has everything you need to make full meals. We also enjoyed sitting in the front deck to enjoy the view and read; we only wished we had more time (and less rain) so we could grill in the back area! As a host, Sophia is very organized and communicative. I would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.
Sophia was a lovely host. Her home is quiet and peaceful and exactly as described. It was our second trip there and both times have found it perfect with beautiful views and a cozy inside. Sophia communicated with us from the start in an organized, helpful way. We'll definitely stay there again if we are in the area.
This place was great. Very clean and full of the essentials you need for a great stay. Sophia has a nice little set of sheets that tell you everything you need to know about the place and the surrounding area. She was quick with a response to any other questions we had. I loved the view in the spring, I can only imagine how beautiful it is during the winter. Definitely eat at the Dam Diner, it was really good food! The wifi and cell signal we got worked very well.
Beautiful place, with mountain views and few neighbors, totally matching the description. We really enjoyed the fireplace and the front deck. There were a few interesting restaurants around but many of them were closed for the season, which was great for us because we love to cook and the kitchen had all the essentials that we would usually pack for ourselves on a trip like this because we don't expect anyone to have them: sharp knifes, cast iron skillets, french press, etc. The pantry was well stocked too, which saved us an extra trip or two out to the grocery store for things we forgot. We would definitely be happy to come back.
Proximity to Stratton is perfect. The house itself.....realistically, you couldn't ask for more. Well, maybe you could but that would be greedy. Sophia is communicative, available, and always has the house ready for house guests.
House was great. Clean and well equipment. A quick drive to Stratton and Bromley mountains. Thank you so much for a great weekend!
Our group had a great time! We were a group of 6 women friends looking for a little weekend getaway and this was the perfect spot. The chalet was clean and cozy. We loved the great room with the fireplace and wonderful view. We'll be back!
