  • Tiffany's apartment is perfect and very well located near Tompkins Square Park. The rooms were clean and perfectly prepared for a stay. I can only agree with previous speakers/writers. Recommendation for a perfect breakfast is "Pick me up" Cafe ... very nice place ...
Tiffany was a perfect host and answered every question very fast.
    Thanks for everything Tiffany ... :) :) :)

  • This trip - and especially Tiffanys apartment - has been great!
The apartment is very well located! Its literally in the heart of the historic and beautiful East Village, across Tompkins Square Park.
We loved the view from the living room window into the park, where you could watch skaterboaders, dog walkers and softball games - it felt like the real New York experience.
Just downstairs are great reastaurants, such as the "Pick me up" Café, where we had breakfast and dinner, and the "Brindle Room", where we picked up the keys easily and welcoming - and ate a great burger too! "Tompkins finest Deli" at the corner has everything you need and we felt pretty comfortable in that cozy neighboorhood with lots of bars and second hand shops.

Tiffany was a great host and made sure we found everything - especially picking up the keys - alright. She answered every question asap.

From the apartment you can easily reach all the important sights in NYC. We mostly walked everywhere, or took the M14 bus that rides along 14th St to Union Square from where you can easily reach anything else by subway or within walking distance. Williamsburg/Brooklyn is also just a short walk away.

We stayed in the apartment with 4 ppl. It was small but ok for us. The futon in the living room is comfortable (even more so if you separate the two parts once you built it up). Tiffany provided enough towels and sheets as well as blankets. The apartment was clean and we found everything we needed.

I recommend this apartment for groups of friends or a couple who want to experience the real New York. I'd stay with Tiffany again anytime! It all went perfectly.

  • I have used airbnb.com many times but this was far out the best stay. Tiffany's apartment is great! Everything went smoth with the key pick up and the apartment and the building was very clean. I always stay in the East Village while in New York so for me the location was perfect. And I always recommend people to stay there too, first time to New York or not. Looking forward to stay in this apartment again.

  • The place was great. The location was ideal, and the place easily accommodated me and the friend I was traveling with. Although we didn't spend much time there, the light in the living room is great, and the exposed brick is very charming. Tiffany provided a very useful information sheet with everything we needed, and she responded quickly to the one question we had. Checking in and out were a breeze. I would definitely recommend.

  • Tiffany's apartment is in a killer location. On Tompkins Square Park, around the corner from PS122 and Momofuku. The bedroom is in the back and quiet. The front room looks out over the park. Sheesh. What more could you ask for. Tiffany lent me a scarf because it was cold. A perfect place to stay, and a perfect hostess.

  • The apartment was warm and clean with lots of great light. It was in a fantastic location with some of our favorite restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable, and the shower was nice and hot. The apartment was very sparsely furnished. I would very much have appreciated another chair, a few tables and lamps.

  • I´d say that my experience matches the other guests´ experiences. So I won´t be so creative. It is a well-located flat, near most facilities and most places. The pick-up process was easy and quick. And mostly everything worked well. It would have been nice to have some extra knives, but that was all.

  • We were a family of four grown ups on a five month world tour and Tiffany's apartment suited our budget and our experience was positive. The location is excellent, great cafes and excellent all night shops right outside the door and a lovely little park. Both the bed and the futon couch bed were very comfortable and the flat was always nice and warm, even though it was freezing outside. Tiffany was very responsive when we requested another set of keys. Although there is double glazing in the lounge, it can be a bit noisy at night for those sleeping in the lounge room (bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper) , there is no noise in the bedroom. The kitchen is only stocked enough to make coffee and light breakfast and that was good enough for us. This is a great choice for those of us on a budget, happy with the basics and out and about all day (considering how expensive real estate is in NYC.) If you want a bit of luxury (ie quality linen etc) or a romantic getaway then this would not meed your needs, you will need to pay more. The apartment is not as homely as the photos suggest, more sparse but then again we did not spend much time in the apartment so this did not bother us. Overall , we thought it was great for two people, somewhat cosy and less private for four and we can certainly recommend Tiffany's apartment as a good value place to stay for those on a budget

  • Tiffany's place was clean and very conveniently located. Acquiring and returning the key was a straightforward process. The apartment is less furnished than depicted, but nevertheless a comfortable place to stay in the East Village.

  • Very nice and warm appartment. Perfect location. It was easy to get the key and everything was ready when we arrived (bed sheets, covers, welcome letter ...) It was very nice for us 2. May be a bit small for 4 but can be.
