The Geo Mara, Wood Ave Park Apt, is our 2 bedroom Executive Apartment located at the magnificent Wood Ave Park Apts behind Yaya Center. Whether you are a nomad traveller, a family or an executive on a business travel, you will find a home here.
Located 3 minutes walk away from Yaya Center, the apartment sits in one of Nairobi's plush suburbs.
Convenience is one of the main selling points of this cozy Nairobi Vacation home. It is located 5 -10 minutes from Prestige Plaza, The Junction Mall, Greenhouse Mall, Adams Arcade and Valley Arcade. It literally puts you right in the middle of where the action is. Adlife House is 1 minute walk away.
Yaya Center is home to many high end stores, restaurants and banks. This apartment will put you close to other nearby attractions such as iHub, Java Coffee House, a couple of Chinese restaurants, Indian Restaurants, Art Caffe and other popular entertainment spots.
There is ample public transport available within 1 minute walk from the apartment. Taxi outside the building and Uber is almost instant, which I recommend due to convenience and pricing.

We respect our guests privacy and will keep our contact to minimal and only necessary just to ensure our guests are as comfortable as possible.

Please note we have located to a new building. All pictures represent the furniture in the house except the building is newer high rise with fast elevators.

Please note Airbnb is a home-sharing concept, therefore we do not claim to be an Hotel, our apartment is located within a normal residential complex, shared by other tenants. Therefore treat this dwelling as you would treat your own. Absolutely No parties or loud music is allowed in our apartment. Be considerate of the other neighbors. Also note we try our best to ensure everything in the apartment is working properly and in top notch shape, however in rare occasion things do break down, just as it would happen your own house, therefore we will try our best to send a repair person as soon as possible, if it's a weekend we might be forced to wait until Monday. But we will always go out of our way to make sure your stay is as comfortable as possible, but be aware there things beyond our control that might take longer compared to Hotel service.
Thank you for choosing to stay in my apartment. Below are some tips on how to operate different equipment within the house.
1. Turn the switch on in the hallway for only 30 min before shower to avoid exorbitant electric charges ensure switch is always off if not on use.
2. Garbage/ Disposal
Collect garbage daily in black bags provided or found under the cabinet sink and ask security where to dispose.
There is ample parking within the apartment.
If you wish to do any personal laundary, you are free to use the provided dryer washer provided. Note this is a combo dryer washer
The TV has cable service called DSTV, if there any issues, please contact DSTV customer service, however a simple reboot should resolve most issues. Note there is a remote control to turn the TV on and DSTV remote to change channels
There is a stick note next to TV with ssid name of the wifi and password
8. Electric Tokens
You are responsible to pay your own electric charges, There is a meter in the living room which you must purchase your electric tokens, Please ask the caretaker to help you. Approximately $30 of tokens will last 30 days.
9. Check out
To keep our charges low, we expect the apartment to be mopped & cleaned & be left in the same condition you found it. All dirty linen should be taken out of beds and be placed in the dirty linen bins in the bedrooms. The refrigerator should be emptied and cleaned, dishes washed, dried and be put back in the cabinets. Garbage to be disposed properly and no beer/liquor bottles left behind.
10. Family & Friends
If you have family or friends visiting, please remind them not take any linens or items that belong to the apt. If you break any item, please replace immediately. Caretaker will assist.
Please note our apartments are only supposed to hold the number of guests as per the reservation. Extra charges are applicable beyond the stated number of guests.
PS: NO SMOKING POLICY STRICTLY OBSERVED A SURCHARGE OF $100, Plus lease termination. Use parking lot area or rooftop.
