Walking (or paddling!) distance from the New England Music Camp/Snow Pond Center for the Arts and 10 minutes from Colby College and downtown Waterville, the Barn Loft is a studio living space with views AND access to Messalonskee Lake with kayaks and paddle board available for guest use, as well as a dock for your fishing boat! The space has a small fridge, stove, and microwave and an outdoor fire pit for all of your s'mores needs! Access to lake is just a few steps down the driveway.

The space
The studio room features a queen sized bed and a twin trundle bed that pulls out into two twin beds. The bathroom has a tile shower (but be aware that water pressure is low as we are on a private water system). Guests can access the lake (approximately 200 feet away) to swim, use the kayaks and many floaty toys shared with our cozy Lakeside Cottage listing. There is a small range and oven, microwave, coffee pot, and small grill as well as an outdoor deck table with lake views over the treetops!

My husband and I live in Maine and I help my father rent his beautiful summer cottage on AirBnB. I'm an online college professor and my husband runs ultra-marathons of 50 to 100 miles. We have two cats named Walnut and Mr. Pinkleton. We love good food and interesting new places!
