I live in this apartment, and host travelers like yourself in the other 3 rooms. This is the perfect spot for students, backpackers, and others on a budget, who still want to stay in one of the best neighborhoods in all of NYC, and have the entire city easily accessible by foot or subway.
This apartment is in a PRIME Williamsburg location right off of Bedford Avenue, which is the bustling main street that runs through the neighborhood.
Staying here is similar to a hostel environment (except that you get your own room!) where you'll have the opportunity to meet and interact with other travelers like yourself. The apartment is on the first floor of the building, and includes access to an open outdoor space. The room is small, but spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 1 or 2 people. The bathroom is shared. The area is very safe, and the apartment has never had a problem with rodents, roaches, or bedbugs.
Williamsburg is the artistic and cultural heart of Brooklyn, with some of the best music and nightlife in NYC. Many would agree with me that this is the best neighborhood in the entire city. There are TONS of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutique stores, music venues, and everything else you can possibly imagine close by. When you check in, there'll be a list of some of my favorite spots in the neighborhood waiting for you in your room.
The nearest subway stops are the Marcy J/M/Z (5 min walk) and the Bedford L (10 min walk), both of which are only one stop to Manhattan. On a nice day, you can also walk or ride a bike over the Williamsburg bridge into downtown Manhattan. For subway & bus directions anywhere in the city (including the airport), I recommend the website & app HopStop.
I always provide a clean room, with fresh sheets and towels for every guest.
You may check-in at your convenience, anytime after 4pm on the day of your arrival (even late at night). I cannot accommodate early check-ins, because other guests will be checking out the same day, however, you may drop your luggage off early if you need to.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any additional question or if there's anything I can help you with.

Other Things to Note
Please be aware that this is a residential building, and you'll be sharing the apartment with other Airbnb guests. Please be respectful of guests and neighbors, and keep noise levels at a reasonable volume. I do not host guests with pets or children under the age of 18. Other than that, enjoy your stay!!
Bed bug infestations have made a resurgence in NYC in recent years. This apartment does not and has never had bed bugs, and I would like to keep it that way!!! If you have bed bugs in your home or are at risk of transporting them for any reason, I kindly ask you not to book.
Great location and neighborhood especially for young people - many cute places to eat and shop. It's ok for a few days of sightseeing but after that you want to have a window in your room. The room may be a bit too small for two suitcases but the bedsize is perfect for two people. We saw Dom just for a few minutes while arriving and leaving, but never really interacted. However getting the key in the nearby shop was no problem at all and worked out perfectly.
All in all it was what we expected for the price.
Host was very nice. Room wasn't what I expected and didn't match the pictures.
Awesome location, clean, and quiet. This room was perfect for my stay in Brooklyn and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!
This room was exactly what we looking for. We needed a last minute place to stay, and booked with Dom. It was exactly as advertised. It was pretty clean and provided the simple, inexpensive accommodation for one night. The kitchen was nice and the shower was great; Dom was helpful and quick to respond. You can't beat the price, especially with the neighborhood; the building inside is itself interesting if you're into modern architecture.
One should note that the doors don't lock on the rooms, and you shouldn't expect 5-star hospitality; it's like a hostel with three rooms, so more private than a hostel- but without the pressure of coming into someone's home. There was an issue with the key for my room not being available at the store pick-up point, but after texting Dom within 3 minutes or so he had responded with a solution and we were able to get in.
However, the neighborhood felt safe and was a great area, the bed was soft, and overall it provided a nice haven and an interesting experience. I would definitely rent from Dom or this location again.
Had a great stay at this place! I was in NYC for work and it was the perfect spot for me to stay for the week, where I could come home to a quiet and clean place after working and playing all day. I had a clean room, with towels laid out for me, and a clear manual on how to obtain and leave the keys. Very easy and so close to the trains and great restaurants in Williamsburg! The only issue was the lock on my bedroom door didn't work and there was no shower curtain, but I always felt safe regardless and even without the shower curtain the bathroom was clean and not too wet after my shower. I would definitely stay here again!
