I live in this apartment, and host travelers like yourself in the other 3 rooms. This is the perfect spot for students, backpackers, and others on a budget, who still want to stay in one of the best neighborhoods in all of NYC, and have the entire city easily accessible by foot or subway.
This apartment is in a PRIME Williamsburg location right off of Bedford Avenue, which is the bustling main street that runs through the neighborhood.
Staying here is similar to a hostel environment (except that you get your own room!) where you'll have the opportunity to meet and interact with other travelers like yourself. The apartment is on the first floor of the building, and includes access to an open outdoor space. The room is small with no window, but spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 1 or 2 people. The bathroom is shared. The area is very safe, and the apartment has never had a problem with rodents, roaches, or bedbugs.
Williamsburg is the artistic and cultural heart of Brooklyn, with some of the best music and nightlife in NYC. Many would agree with me that this is the best neighborhood in the entire city. There are TONS of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutique stores, music venues, and everything else you can possibly imagine close by. When you check in, there'll be a list of some of my favorite spots in the neighborhood waiting for you in your room.
The nearest subway stops are the Marcy J/M/Z (5 min walk) and the Bedford L (10 min walk), both of which are only one stop to Manhattan. On a nice day, you can also walk or ride a bike over the Williamsburg bridge into downtown Manhattan. For subway & bus directions anywhere in the city (including the airport), I recommend the website & app HopStop.
I always provide a clean room, with fresh sheets and towels for every guest.
You may check-in at your convenience, anytime after 4pm on the day of your arrival (even late at night). I cannot accommodate early check-ins, because other guests will be checking out the same day, however, you may drop your luggage off early if you need to.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any additional question or if there's anything I can help you with.

Other Things to Note

Please be respectful of guests and neighbors, and keep noise levels at a reasonable volume. I do not host guests with pets or children under the age of 18. Other than that, enjoy your stay!!
Bed bug infestations have made a resurgence in NYC in recent years. This apartment does not and has never had bed bugs, and I would like to keep it that way!!! If you have bed bugs in your home or are at risk of transporting them for any reason, I kindly ask you not to book.
It's in a good location in Brooklyn. 15 mins to the subway walking slowly. There are loads of nice coffee shops and the like in the area.
The room was small... just a little bigger than the double bed. I got a comfortable nights sleep. The electric sockets and the wifi worked. The bathroom was close by and totally functional. It's not a luxury place... but it suited me nicely. The bed sheets and towels were clean too.
The apartment location was great. close to subway for getting Manhattan. The neighborhood has lots of restaurants. The room was small that I expected, also no window, a/c. reasonable price.
This apartment is a perfect and a good value for money base for sightseeing tours to Manhattan. Subway is only a 10 min. walk. The check-in and check-out procedures worked perfectly. The room is a little bit small and maybe not suitable for 2 persons with a lot of luggage.
Dom was a great host and I really enjoyed my stay in NYC.
Great price, location, and easy check in process! Everything I want from an AirBnB stay. Highly recommend booking with Dom for your next NYC adventure :)
When I got to Bedford ave Subway station, I was quite tired after a long journey, subway heat and general exhaustion. I should have not walked to Dom's place because it is a 10 block walk, which might seem a breeze on a nice day and 0 bags, but I had luggage and it was 92F. When I got to the store where I had to collect the keys, I got the secret packet, it was a new experience for me, seamless and hasslefree. I got to the building, very secure, ground floor, easy access, relatively newer of the buildings. The apartment is smallish, but has everything you might need. My room was just a bed and floor space enough to keep your bags. I was forewarned by other reviews so I had set my expectations accordingly. The room was clean, 2 towels, airconditioned, a small fan, a small chest of drawers. The bathroom is shared by other guests and there could be a wait. I did bump into other guests, they were friendly and nice. The bathroom is clean. For the price that I paid, I would say it was the best deal. If I were to be too picky I would say there was garbage smell in the hallway of the building, but that is not Dom's fault.
The neighborhood is really lively and you just feel the vibe! Walks around it are so cool...walk by the water to see the Manhattan skyline. Walk to bars, restaurants, cafes, stores, everything is nice and close by! I would give it a 10/10 for location if you are going to stay in Williamsburg for an extended period of time. But if you are to commute to Manhattan everyday it might be hard. Williamsburg just is a cool part and you are right in the heart of it! There are authentic Mexican and Puerto Rican restaurants close by. You will see the "hipsters", yoga mats, men and women running all over the place and way too many good looking people lol. There is also the coolest cafe I have ever seen called Devocion.
