The Space

I live in this apartment, and host travelers like yourself in the spare rooms. This is the perfect spot for those on a budget, who still want to stay in one of the best neighborhoods in NYC. Hotels in this area typically run from $250-$500 per night. From here you'll have easy access to the L and J/M/Z subway stops to get you anywhere in the city.

Be aware that many Airbnb listings which claim to be in Williamsburg, are NOT actually in the neighborhood. This place is in a prime Williamsburg location right off of Bedford Avenue, which is the bustling main street that runs through the neighborhood.

I host guests in 3 of the rooms in this apartment, so it's similar to a hostel environment (except that you get your own room!) where you'll have the opportunity to meet and interact with other travelers. The apartment is on the first floor of the building, and includes access to an open outdoor space. The room is small, but spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 1 or 2 people. The bathroom is shared. The area is very safe, and the apartment has never had a problem with rodents, roaches, or bedbugs.

Williamsburg is the artistic and cultural heart of Brooklyn, with some of the best music and nightlife in NYC. Many would agree with me that this is the best neighborhood in the entire city. There are TONS of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutique stores, music venues, and everything else you can possibly imagine close by. When you check in, there'll be a list of some of my favorite spots in the neighborhood waiting for you on your bed.

You'll be within walking distance to the Bedford L & the Marcy JMZ subway stops, from which the entire city will be easily accessible. For subway & bus directions anywhere in the city, I recommend the website & app HopStop.

I always provide a clean room, with fresh sheets and towels for every guest. Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you have any question or if there's anything I can help you with.

  • We weren't able to meet Dom, since he was working at our arrival time, but communication with him was never the less prompt and helpful. His friend met us and showed us the room, he was very friendly and talkative.
The room was small but nice and clean.
The location is really nice, we were able to walk around and explore without even having to take a train ( we walker A LOT). Experienced some really great food on Bedford street.
Would definitely recommend this place to my friends!!!
    Thank you Dom.

  • I had an awesome experience with this listing! The room is in a great location, with lots of shops, food, and transportation near by. The room was really small and had no windows, but it was worth it for the price!

  • Everything worked out perfectly. The location was centralized in the heart of Brooklyn. The place was tidy and towels were provided. Dom left info about places in the area, wifi info, etc. All in all, no complaints!

  • We enjoyed our stay very much at Dom's. The location is superb. Bedford St. is where most things are happening in Williamsburg and it is half a block away. All is convenient. The only downside to the apartment is that one has to be very quiet as the walls are thin. However we spent most of our time out and about and we did get used to this after awhile. There is a nice kitchen and the bathroom is adequate.

The subway lines, both the J and the L trains are close and all shops for food are convenient. We loved Williamsburg, its close proximity to tourist sites and Manhattan as well as how quaint and fun it is.

  • Dom was a fantastic host! He was very responsive to any questions and kept a very neat home. The apartment is great for someone exploring the city and Williamsburg is a beautiful spot as well. All in all, great place to stay.

  • Well located,
    Clean room & apartment,
    Flexible with the arrival time,
    Good WiFi connection,
    Good value for the area,
Not too far from the subway,
    Responsive to emails,
Plenty of bars and restaurants around,
    Secure locks on the rooms.

Only down side was noise from the neighbours until 2 am and room, I was in, had no windows.

Overall, a fine place at a reasonable price.

  • Stayed at Dom's in April. It was a great spot for one night, and walking distance to many amazing restaurants and bars. Would definitely stay again!
