I live in this apartment, and host travelers like yourself in the other 3 rooms. This is the perfect spot for students, backpackers, and others on a budget, who still want to stay in one of the best neighborhoods in all of NYC, and have the entire city easily accessible by foot or subway.
This apartment is in a PRIME Williamsburg location right off of Bedford Avenue, which is the bustling main street that runs through the neighborhood.
Staying here is similar to a hostel environment (except that you get your own room!) where you'll have the opportunity to meet and interact with other travelers like yourself. The apartment is on the first floor of the building, and includes access to an open outdoor space. The room is small with no window, but spacious enough to comfortably accommodate 1 or 2 people. The bathroom is shared. The area is very safe, and the apartment has never had a problem with rodents, roaches, or bedbugs.
Williamsburg is the artistic and cultural heart of Brooklyn, with some of the best music and nightlife in NYC. Many would agree with me that this is the best neighborhood in the entire city. There are TONS of restaurants, bars, coffee shops, boutique stores, music venues, and everything else you can possibly imagine close by. When you check in, there'll be a list of some of my favorite spots in the neighborhood waiting for you in your room.
The nearest subway stops are the Marcy J/M/Z (5 min walk) and the Bedford L (10 min walk), both of which are only one stop to Manhattan. On a nice day, you can also walk or ride a bike over the Williamsburg bridge into downtown Manhattan. For subway & bus directions anywhere in the city (including the airport), I recommend the website & app HopStop.
I always provide a clean room, with fresh sheets and towels for every guest.
You may check-in at your convenience, anytime after 4pm on the day of your arrival (even late at night). I cannot accommodate early check-ins, because other guests will be checking out the same day, however, you may drop your luggage off early if you need to.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any additional question or if there's anything I can help you with.

Other Things to Note
Please be aware that this is a residential building, and you'll be sharing the apartment with other Airbnb guests. Please be respectful of guests and neighbors, and keep noise levels at a reasonable volume. I do not host guests with pets or children under the age of 18. Other than that, enjoy your stay!!
Bed bug infestations have made a resurgence in NYC in recent years. This apartment does not and has never had bed bugs, and I would like to keep it that way!!! If you have bed bugs in your home or are at risk of transporting them for any reason, I kindly ask you not to book.
The apartment is in a great location! It was super easy to get there, and had tons of great restaurants and bars within quick walking distance. The subway is not too far, either, though we did find it was easier to Uber to some of the farther places we were visiting.
The room itself is pretty tiny - this is New York, after all. It worked great for us, because we were planning on staying out in the city for as much time as possible. Not the best if you want somewhere to hang out and lounge, though. There's no AC in the room, but there is a fan that cooled it down a lot. Overall the room was pretty comfortable and for a great price.
We didn't get to meet Dom while we were here, unfortunately, but it was super easy to pick up the keys and find the place. I definitely recommend checking it out!
Location was great, short walk to subway for quick trip to Manhattan with plenty of places to eat nearby.
Never met Dom, however arrangements to collect keys worked well and he was very responsive to any messages.
Room simple but small, what you would expect give location and rate. It was a little noisy when other people came in late at night, but on the whole nothing to complain about, no-one was excessively or deliberately noisy. Fan in the room also helped mask noise.
A/C and the apartments location kept the place cool despite hot days.
Kitchen, bathroom and common areas all clean and tidy.
I would like to thank you to Dom for the stay.
Location of the venue is ideal for dinner and drinking.
Although bedroom is small and equipped with no window, it was clean and sufficient for sleep.
As we share one bathroom by 4 rooms, I sometimes experienced long occupancy in the morning by other customers.
The room was in a great location. Plenty of bars and restaurants in the area as well as public transportation to get into the city. The room is a small affordable room with everything you need. We enjoyed our time there.
This was the perfect location and just what we wanted for New York - given we didn't want to spend much time in our room as New York has so much to offer. Great kitchen and bathroom facilities. Very easy to come and go as we pleased. The house does operate as a bit of a small international house, with a few rooms hosting other travelers. Note the room is very small - but if you're not spending time there this doesn't really matter. There are also no windows and in the summer months it was sweltering at night - though there is a small fan. On location - we really wanted to be in williamsburg - however, if you are only planning to do Manhattan and the main sites then this might be a little further than you would like. That said, the subway is so convenient and regular and we found it a perfect spot. Very safe neighborhood, lots of great bars and cafes, clubs etc.
