Flowers, fresh fruit and holiday decorations were placed for our stay ! Andrea knew that we were there for our sons graduation from college and was thoughtful enough to leave a card for him. Home is very clean and spacious . Hope to spend another weekend in future , much to do in area.
This was our first experience staying somewhere with air bnb and we couldn't be more pleased. Andrea was a wonderful hostess and made us feel so welcome and comfortable! The cottage was beautiful and we had everything we needed. The area is very pretty and the neighborhood was quiet. We were able to have a very relaxing family visit playing games, doing puzzles and eating a belated Thanksgiving dinner. We would definitely like to come back here again.
We were welcomed and given a thorough orientation to the home and Andrea left us a fresh fruit bowl and we were made to feel right at home. The house was as depicted ant more. Beautiful views and the neighborhood was quiet and I would definitely rent this property again.
Andrea could not have been a better host. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable in her clean, spacious, modern home located on a lagoon with stunning views of Edinboro Lake. We rented the home with two sorority sisters I have not seen in over 30 years so it was extra fun when Andrea brought us yearbooks from our college days. She even had welcome bags with all kinds of goodies from EUP since it was homecoming. Andrea's home is warm and beautifully decorated. Staying there for three days and reminiscing about the good old days made us all want to move back to Edinboro. Even if you didn't attend college here, this lake house feels like you're a million miles from reality. Andrea also raises chickens and the farm fresh eggs, fruit and bagels she left were better than going out to breakfast! If you rent the Kingfisher's Cottage, you will not want to leave. Just saying!!!
Andrea was so friendly and helpful. Our plane was delayed and she was very accommodating about our arrival time. The house and its location was beyond our expectations. We would have been happy to sit on the deck the entire weekend watching the geese and ducks. The house was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. We were in Erie for a busy wedding weekend but managed to fit in a few walks around the lake and drives into Edinboro and Campbell Pottery. Thanks Andrea for a great weekend-
Wonderful time in Edinboro - just as advertised. Our hostess was very communicative and helpful. I brought my father and sons for a 3 generation fishing vacation. Andrea went the extra step and gathered plenty of helpful information on the area including Presque Island. Groceries, shopping, restaurants, route 79, golf and canoe rental are minutes away yet you feel away from it all in this ideal location. We rented a canoe for a day on Edinboro lake and caught some bass. On day 2 we golfed in the morning and boated in lake Erie in the afternoon. The house is very roomy and kitchen superb. A great getaway!!
The house was beautiful with fantastic views on overlooking lily pads and Edinboro Lake.
The gourmet kitchen was fantastic and very well appointed with high-end appliances; I was able to do some cooking and baking for a family reunion picnic.
The fenced-in yard was ideal for my little dog. Bogie could go out on his own whenever he wanted.
Andrea was delightful and a fantastic host! She could not have been better. She brought over her Kitchenaide mixer and all the ingredients for baking when I told her that I wished to bake cookies for my family reunion. Andrea put together travel information for the entire Erie/ Edinboro area. Andrea made our experience a wonderful one.
