This was my first airbnb experience and it couldn't have gone any better. Andrea stays in contact with you and responds to emails asap before/during/after your trip. She will give you the run down of the house and is gone to let you enjoy. And trust me you will enjoy this place. Myself and my buddies who stayed with me lived in Edinboro for 5 years and didn't know this beautiful part of the town existed. The house has everything you need for whatever kind of trip you are looking for. Thanks for everything Andrea and Kingfisher's Cottage!!!!
The place is great. We were there hosting my son's grad party on edinboro lake. As previously advertised by other renters, Andrea goes above and beyond. She decorated the house with a congrats graduate banner and left a card for my son. She also gifted us fresh eggs from her raised chickens. The house is well maintained and clean. The only issue we had was an ant infestation that was almost unbearable. We woke one morning to find an army of ants marching across the countertop from behind the cupboard to the yet to be washed dishes in the kitchen sink and a returning line going back to the cupboard carrying scraps. We were checking out that day so we sprayed ant killer all over the area and I suggested she call in an exterminator before the next tenant checked in. I'm sure she was surprised and embarrassed by the inconvenience and I'd be shocked if she hasn't taken care of the issue by now. In spite of the unwanted guests we had a great experience and stay here again.
Andrea was a terrific host. She has thought of everything. Very welcoming and superb communication. The house is very clean and spacious. Perfect location on the lake and close to everything! Would love to stay here again.
Andrea greeted us upon our arrival and was a wonderful host. The house was very clean and filled with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. She even supplied a fishing rod and bait for my husband who was able to fish off their private dock. We were right on the lake and enjoyed the quietness of the neighborhood. We had easy access to shopping, restaurants and many other activities in the area. We would not hesitate to stay here again and hope to do so in the near future.
Andrea was an awesome host. She left fresh fruit for us and gave us great information about the surronding area. This place has to be a hidden gem on the lake. We were beyond excited after seeing the place and it was perfect. Anyone staying in Edinboro area looking for a relaxing time should stay here.
Flowers, fresh fruit and holiday decorations were placed for our stay ! Andrea knew that we were there for our sons graduation from college and was thoughtful enough to leave a card for him. Home is very clean and spacious . Hope to spend another weekend in future , much to do in area.
This was our first experience staying somewhere with air bnb and we couldn't be more pleased. Andrea was a wonderful hostess and made us feel so welcome and comfortable! The cottage was beautiful and we had everything we needed. The area is very pretty and the neighborhood was quiet. We were able to have a very relaxing family visit playing games, doing puzzles and eating a belated Thanksgiving dinner. We would definitely like to come back here again.
