About This Listing
This is our unique and utterly cozy penthouse apartment located in popular and buzzing Vesterbro, close to the central station and the town hall square and with everything Copenhagen has to offer within short walking distance
The apartment is located on the 5th floor of an old traditional danish townbuilding from 1880 and the atmosphere and light up here is just fantastic. The apartment has just recently been completely refurbished, with new wooden pine floors and a new minimaslitic kitchen. With great respect for the traditionally old timberframed construction of the building, wood and bricks have been exposed and preserved in a respectful way and makes the apartment a unique experience.
The whole apartment will be at your diposal and shared with me.
A clean bathroom and a well equipped openspaced kitchen. Central dining area, cozy living room and your bedroom, equipped with a normal sized bed and a specially designed kids bunkbed. On top of all this, there's a beautifull green, lush and kids-friendly backyard at your full disposal.
Interaction with Guests
I will off course be sharing the apartment with you during the time you are in Copenhagen. I will meet you when you arrive, show you the place and make sure you get properly settled, and after that, I'll just be aroun´d, doing what I do everyday. How you would like to share the place and how much you would like to socialize is off course ALL up to you! Nothing is expected and everything respected... as long as you have a great time here! ;-)
Our cozy, quiet and unique penthouse apartment is located in Vesterbro. A very popular area that is definately one of the most buzzing and divers areas of central Copenhagen, where artists, actors, directors, homeless shelters and familys with kids live next door to each other. Cafés, restaurants and popular shopping are just around the corner and the Copenhagen central square and the famous walking street "Strøget" is just 10-15 minutes stroll away.
From the international airport in Copenhagen, the apartment is reached within 20 min by public transportation. Cheapest, easiest and fastest by train (not the metro) from the airport to the Central station, from where it is just a short 6 minutes walk.
Local busses leave for all over Copenhagen, from just around the corner and the Central Station, from where the airport as mentioned and the rest of the country is easily reached, is just a few minutes walk away.
If you arrive by car, there is plenty of paid parking in the area.

Sophie (11), Amber (10) and I stayed in Lars apartment for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay, truly home from home and a great location from which to discover the sights of Copenhagen. The girls want to go back but only if they can stay in Lars’ place – a ringing endorsement!
Lars was an amazing host! The flat was bright and clean, with beautiful decorations. Each morning he left breakfast for us to enjoy, including coffee and tea. His place is in an excellent part of town and is surrounded by shops, restaurants, and plenty of sights. It's on the top floor and looks just as great as the photos in his listing. He's got a great smart phone app that makes it super easy to check and out of his place as well.
Lars was incredibly kind and welcoming. He stayed up late our first night to talk about the city and what museums and sights we should visit during our stay.
We would highly recommend his place and look forward to staying with him again on our next trip to Copenhagen.
We had a very good two nights in Lars beautiful apartment. Lars made us feel very welcome and he provided us with a nice breakfast every morning. Lars was also very helpful in giving us tips about the city. The apartment was very well situated in Copenhagen with a lot of nice restaurants, cafés and shops near.
I travel frequently to Copenhagen on business, and this was the third time I stayed at Lars' place. As always, I appreciate the location, cleanliness and calm of his apartment. Lars is very helpful with suggestions on what to see and do, is quick to respond, and very flexible concerning my always complicated travel plans. His place is always the first I check for availability whenever I need to be in CPH.
I really enjoyed staying with Lars. His apartment is great – close to the central station, close to many good bars and restaurants. It’s clean, quiet and cozy. Lars himself is a great host. He has lots of practical suggestions about how to get around and places see. It was a pleasure to sit around his place in the evenings and share work and travel stories. I'll be sure to stay at his place again next time I am in Copenhagen.

About the Host, Lars
I am an architect from Copenhagen, and I live with my 4 year old daughter in central Copenhagen. We love to travel, love to see the world, new places and to meet new and interesting people. Maybe that's you!?
When we are at home, we miss al the different exiting cultures and people of the world, so we are looking for interesting and openminded people that would come to visit us and enrich our lives! Maybe that's you!?
And when we do fly to distant places, we really don't like that our lovely apartment is left unused and abadoned when we are not there. So we are looking for caring and nice people that would love to take good care of our place, and most importantly, enjoy it as much as we do, while we are away. Maybe that's you!?
Anyway, looking forward to getting to know you! :-)
