Ivan was great. The problem is the apartment itself. The bedroom and the bed are located next to the road which has cars on it all night. At about 5:30 to 6 am, the morning rush begins. We were not able to get any sleep all night. Bedroom did not have a tv. The one TV was in the living room, which had no AC. There was only about 4 channels to watch too. The Internet had a cable to attach to a laptop, per a note left in the apartment. As such, you couldn't connect Internet to a smart phone. The jets in the jacuzzi did not work either. Bed and/or sheets were itchy. You could also hear music and noise from a strip club / bar about 50 feet away from the apartment. People from the strip club / bar could be heard talking in the street near by. We left first thing in the am and found a hotel down the street even we paid for three nights.
This apartment was great. It couldn't be easier to access - right on the Malecon, so hard to get lost. And there is someone on site to give you access to the apartment immediately, so there is no waiting, or coordinating a meeting time. If something is wrong it is corrected right away. The only problem I had was the internet, but that was up and running in about an hour, thanks to the speedy action of the property manager. The view is wonderful. I watched the same fisherman fishing every morning. There is traffic, but it didn't really bother me. I love cities. The bathtub is divine!! The entire apartment is very good quality and everything it advertises to be. I will definitely rent this property again!

The description is very accurate and the view is amazing. The caretaker was very nice and helpful.
I had a fairly good stay at Ivan's place (if not to think of a few things, which I will mention later). The apartment was furnished in a fancy style and it is quite livable. The ocean view is magnificent and security personal is helpful.
On the negative side, the apartment and the whole building have cockroaches; the main road in front of the building produces a lot of noise and dust, especially because windows don't fully close and require repairs (as well as some other things in the apartment - floor, bath fixture and ceiling would be nice to fix). Finally, it is not that safe to even walk outside the apartment complex - police-dressed motorbike riders may find many excuses to take your money.
The apartment is in a very safe building with 24/7 security, the view to the sea is a plus, the communication with Ivan was Excellent, he was very helpful, the apartment is good condition like you can see in the pictures, there were small plumbing issues but they were fixed quickly.
The wifi work perfect.
Had a great stay. The property personnel was very helpful and welcoming.
