Joy was just the most amazing host I've ever had. Not only was she great conversation her place was in walking distance from every single thing you can imagine wanting to do from food to entertainment tonight clubs to the theater. The bedroom featured a walk-in closet which made it so easy for me since I don't travel lightly. We stayed at one of the busiest times and still managed to have a parking the entire time. She was even there for us when my girlfriend lost her phone and quickly gave us a contact number for us to call the car service that had just dropped us off. We will continue to stay here whenever we are in town:)
Joyilicious House with funny lovely just the best host!
I had a fantastic time staying at Joy´s here in West Hollywood, since the house is really in the midst of maybe the most exciting neighborhood in L.A.
She also helped me out with everything I needed, information, provided a wonderful Tiffany-blue colored room with white beddings and towels and made me feel like a little princess ....
This was my very first time using AirBnB and I could not have hoped for a better experience. When I first arrived at Joy's she gave me a hug hello and that set the tone for the rest of my time with her. I didn't feel like I was "staying" there but "living" there, such is the warm, inviting, friendly atmosphere she has created in her home. I look forward to staying with her time and time again in the future and happily recommend her to others.
Joy was a great host! So much fun, accommodating, easy to talk to, and full of tips and advice! The location and kitty are great too! I'd definitely stay again!
I had a great stay with Joy and Brent. I was busy, so didn't get to spend much time with them, but they definitely made me feel welcome, texting me "Good Luck!" on my first day of class and leaving me a little something when I left...Very nice hosts!
I stayed at Joy's place for a couple of nights. She was very helpful and generous upon my arrival. I enjoyed my stay and loved the cats too! I would recommend this experience, thank you.
Joy and Brent are brilliant people and excellent hosts. Genuine, friendly and helpful they made me feel right at home during my stay. Travelling from London to LA for the first time (and alone !), Joy's apartment was a good base, walking distance from some great shops, places to eat and a short taxi ride away from the tourist sights (Yes, I TOTALLY geeked out and went on a tour bus and checked out the famous homes on the hills- you should too). But to get to the point, what I was looking for during my stay was somewhere: safe, in a good area of the city, with a host that was welcoming and enthusiastic about my experience during my short stay and above all an apartment environment that made me feel settled. Joy's place ticked all those boxes :) I would love to stay with them again when I next visit!
The apartment is in a very nice location, close to restaurants, shops,... And it's a very safe place. Joy and Brent are very friendly and helped me with everything I needed! I really loved staying there. If you wanna spend some days in LA, you should go to Joy's! :)
Joy and her roommates provided the perfect balance of privacy and company, plus the location was nicely central for me to walk to catch up with my friends who were staying at a nearby hotel. They all are involved in the film industry in different capacities, which I found to be incredibly fascinating. It was a busy two days/three nights that I was there and Joy was constantly accommodating and helpful along the way. To top it off, I was completely pleased to be included in an impulsive girls night chat on my last night in town. This was my first airbnb stay and it will surely be difficult to match. If I ever return to LA, I would not hesitate to stay with them again!
Joy was a lovely and very helpful host. Apartment is one block off Melrose and walking distance from lots of restaurants, cafes, and shops. Must love cats as Major is not shy!
