Lovely house, not an apartment, in Palermo Queens (Villa Crespo), with 2 separate bedrooms and a patio.
Charming 2 bedroom house with small patio.
Excellent location on Av. Estado de Israel, just one block from Palermo and from Av. Cordoba, on the edge of Palermo / Villa Crespo districts. It is just 4 blocks from the subway and major bus routes are just 2 blocks away.
The area is full of restaurants and has excellent clothes stores and boutiques on Av. Cordoba. There is a large supermarket within 2 blocks walk which has a cash-point machine and is open til 10pm. The cleaner offers a service wash at a very reasonable rate, and leaves your clothes folded, ironed and perfumed in the house ready for when you get back later in the day.
For tango fans, it is conveniently located close to several excellent milongas (Salon Canning, Villa Malcolm, Club Fulgor etc).
The house is beautifully decorated by its artist owner. There is room for up to 4 guests: The main bedroom has a sumptuous Louis double bed, plus an office area. The second bedroom has a single bed. Downstairs the lounge includes a sofa bed for one person.
The house features a mix of artwork and artist-made and antique furniture.
In the kitchen you will find a gas cooker, microwave oven, and a large fridge/freezer. The bathroom is fully tiled. The house has gas heating.
It is situated towards the back of the buildings, so provides a relatively quiet atmosphere away from the noise of traffic.
The price includes wifi, and weekly cleaning including sheets and towels. A security deposit is payable via airbnb, which is returned at the end of the stay by airbnb as long as there are no breakages.
If you have time, why not combine your stay with a few days out in the countryside? We have independent, guest accommodation out at our farm, less then an hour and a half from the city.
You can see what life is really like in Argentina, away from the tourism. See listing https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2345495.

Séjour très agréable dans un appartement bohème plein de charme
The flat is in a great location (short walk to the Subte and within walking distance of Palermo centre) and Tracey couldn't have been more helpful - advising on transfers from the airport, restaurants and even changing some money for us on arrival.
During our stay in BA the city was experiencing the worst heat wave it had suffered for 40 years - so the lack of air con was a slight issue (although Tracey provided extra fans immediately and she can't do much about the freak weather!).
She also arranged for us to have some laundry done whilst we were there - amazing. Best service ever from Letitia who returned clothes within 24hrs clean, ironed and smelling amazing (no mean feat with clothes that have been jammed in a back pack for months).
In summary - great value, great location with a five star hostess.
beautiful house located in a quiet area, fully fitted and very well organized, good wi-fi.
Tracey was a wonderful host. Responsive, helpful, and went beyond the call. I shut off the heat by accident and she drove into the city just to turn it back on for me. The apartment is awesome - roomy, quiet, comfortable, great kitchen and huge master bedroom. And the location is great too - close to transportation and easy to walk everywhere from there, as well as to grab a taxi. We absolutely loved our stay there.
I stayed in Tracey's apartment for a little over two months... absolutely loved it...
great location... great space... great hospitality...
thank you. Tracey...
see you again soon...
Love the apartment, and Tracey has been a great host.
Tracey met me on arrival with keys and a smile. The apartment is perfect for BA. A reasonable kitchen and lounge area for entertaining small groups; a small patio; a great mater bedroom, and a smaller bedroom on two upper levels. The pictures she has posted are exactly what the place looks like.
What the pictures don't show is the location. Even though you have street access, the apartment sets back from street and has virtually no street noise.
The internet connection is the best I've found in Buenos Aires... both reliable and fast.
Love the location... near the intersection of Cordoba and Av Estado de Israel... it is easy walking distance to many milongas, restaurants, clubs and a large selection of family run groceries, fruit and veggie stands, laundries, bakeries... and the apartment is four blocks from the Angel Gallardo subte station for access to the rest of the city.
I'm staying another month... love it...
Tracy was great. Very accommodating and hospitable. The apartment is comfortable and just a 10 min. walk from the touristy area of Palermo Soho. It's well equipped and Tracy was great about getting us whatever else we needed. The only less attractive thing about the place is that the downstairs floor doesn't get much light during the day. The bedroom and upper room get plenty though.
As a family of four with two grown-up "children", this apartment was perfect for us. The master bedroom was lovely and the whole place was practical, neat and well-decorated. We were visiting Argentina for the first time, and we were very pleased with the apartment's location in Buenos Aires. The neighborhood gives a real feeling of the local lifestyle and gives easy access the rest of the city with the nearest subway stop being only a short walk away. Walking distance to Palermo was also big plus!! We had the chance to enjoy of the neighborhood restaurants in the during our stay as well as morning runs to a nearby park. We shopped at a family run grocery store two minutes away and found everything we needed.
Tracey was an excellent host, very welcoming, sweet and helpful. If we ever come back, we'd love to stay in this apartment again!
Me and my girlfriend had a really nice time in BsAs and Tracey was a gentle and friendly hostess. She waited for us till 2am, since we had a delayed flight, and she was really into answering all our questions at that time of night. The house is really nice and well equipped and it provides a fair, nice and quiet rest. It's also really well located, very close to supermarkets, nice restaurants, buses and the Subte. Palermo is in my opinion one of the best neighborhoods to stay in Buenos Aires, where you can still check daily normal argentinean life, not the traditional way, but in a modern way. Feels really good if what your looking is for a nice rest far from the touristy crowds of La Boca and San Telmo. Plazza Serrano is just some blocks away, where you have nice bars and shops. Hasta!
We had a fine stay, but was unlucky to run in to a few days without power due to demonstrations against the government. That was not traceys fault, though. Thanks for the stay :)
