Lovely house, not an apartment, in Palermo Queens (Villa Crespo), with 2 separate bedrooms and a patio. Price includes weekly cleaning, wifi, and a coupon for a free tango class at DNI tango school.
Charming 2 bedroom house with small patio.
Excellent location on Av. Estado de Israel, just one block from Palermo and from Av. Cordoba, on the edge of Palermo / Villa Crespo districts. It is just 4 blocks from the subway and major bus routes are just 2 blocks away.
The area is full of restaurants and has excellent clothes stores and boutiques on Av. Cordoba. There is a large supermarket within 2 blocks walk which has a cash-point machine and is open til 10pm. The cleaner offers a service wash at a very reasonable rate, and leaves your clothes folded, ironed and perfumed. She lives just across the road at 4306 Av Estado de Israel, buzzer P.
For tango fans, it is conveniently located close to several excellent milongas (Salon Canning, Villa Malcolm, Club Fulgor etc).
The house is beautifully decorated by its artist owner. There is room for up to 4 guests: The main bedroom has a sumptuous Louis double bed, plus an office area. The second bedroom has a single bed. Downstairs the lounge includes a sofa bed for one person.
The house features a mix of artwork and artist-made and antique furniture.
In the kitchen you will find a gas cooker, microwave oven, and a large fridge/freezer. The bathroom is fully tiled. The house has gas heating.
It is situated towards the back of the buildings, so provides a relatively quiet atmosphere away from the noise of traffic.
The price stated is for up to 2 people and includes wifi, and weekly cleaning including sheets and towels. A security deposit is payable via airbnb, which is returned at the end of the stay by airbnb as long as there are no breakages.
For groups of 3 or 4 people, there is an extra charge of $5 per person per night. This is negotiable for longer term stays.
If you have time, why not combine your stay with a few days out in the countryside? We have independent, guest accommodation out at our farm, less then an hour and a half from the city.
You can see what life is really like in Argentina, away from the tourism. See listing https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/2345495.
The house offers you a comfortable, well-decorated and well-cared for space to spend your holiday. I would ask that you leave it as you find it.
It is in a residential area, so constant, late-night parties would not be welcomed by the neighbours.
Any breakages will need to be paid for from the security deposit.
There is a large, communal rubbish bin just a few metres along the avenue. It is emptied daily. Please do not leave your bags of rubbish in the patio.
Please put coffee grinds in the bin or down the toilet, NOT down the sink, or you will flood the apartment :-(
The council has no recycling service at the present time, but if you want to separate glass bottles and organic waste, I will be happy to pick them up for the eco barn build and the composting out at my farm!
Very nice place. It became a little warm since there is no air conditioning, but it is in a good location and I would stay there again.
The house is good value in an up and coming neighbourhood. Tracey and Leticia were efficient and easy to deal with.
Sleeping at Tracey's was a great experience, she was there to welcome us and made all her possible to make us feel at home! Thank you Tracey!!
We loved staying in Tracy's beautiful apartment. We liked to cook, so the kitchen was of great use to us and the 3 level 2 bedroom apartment served us very well as we made our way through buenos aires. We had a slight hiccup when we checked in, as we were accidentally brought to the other unit Tracy rents an (equally as charming albeit smaller) studio directly adjacent to the 2 bedroom. Once we realized the mixup I contacted Tracy and she immediately rectified the situation. It was comforting knowing Tracy was involved and eager to make things comfortable to us as guests traveling internationally. She was also helpful as we peppered her with questions as our trip went on I.e. Where to get our laundry done, services within the apt, places to eat etc. She responded to all our queries with haste. We highly reccomend her place.
Overall everything was fine we asked for a late checkout due to flight times and Tracey was very accommodating.
