  • A great apartment in a great area of Brooklyn. Everything you need is really near by including shops, bars and restaurants. There is also very easy subway access to Manhattan two mins from the apartment. Isaac and Joe were really helpful and left us really helpful advice on where to go and what to do. Would happily stay here again the next time I'm in NYC. Thanks again guys!

  • Isaac has been very welcoming and his apartment is very clean, spacious, well decorated and with lots of lights. Location is also great, in a nice neighborhood of Brooklyn close to subway to Manhattan. I highly recommend this place and meeting Isaac. I have done many air bnb's in NY and Isaac's apartment is clearly in my TOP 3.

  • I liked the location a lot, although door-to-door subway times are longer than reviewers claim - not awful, but not that quick.
The apartment is spacious. It is a 3rd floor walk-up.

Isaac and his supportive friends were great. In middle of terrible weather, the shower head broke and it took too long for a plumber to come fix it. Apartment key is terribly difficult to operate. Everything else seemed to work fine. There's no tv and I didn't try hooking up my PC to the projector, so it was a tv-free week.

I didn't like the concept / "house rule" of taking out an hour while trying to get ready to depart to hoof to the laundromat to wash sheets and towels -- that is a pain in the ass for guests -- and also requires that you find a lot of quarters ...

Overall, a good value, nice location.

  • Isaac was a pleasure to deal with. I arranged the rental for my parents, who were very happy with the apartment's clean and comfortable arrangements in a great location. Isaac was very responsive and straightforward, and made the experience enjoyable.

I would absolutely recommend him and we'll certainly want to repeat the experience!

About
I am a PhD student in Economics at New York University. I am originally from Mexico City and I moved to NY five years ago. I am enjoying NY to the fullest. I go very often to the Philharmonic, the Opera, and Indie concerts, and I'm always riding my bike around. I love good food and drink, and I have put together a list of restaurant recommendations for NYC. I also like to travel and meet local people, make new friends, and host parties :) I closed my social media accounts recently to concentrate in writing my thesis, it has really increased my productivity! I can send you my personal webpage if you want to know more about me. Cheers!
