Interaction with Guests
In most cases, our interaction will include a brief tour of the house and a key hand off. We will generally be available by phone/text message to answer questions about getting around, where to eat, etc.
Located directly across from Angell Elementary school, the home is located primarily among local Ann Arbor professionals & grad students. It's location boasts walkability to numerous central UM campus and local Ann Arbor attractions.
Main campus, Medical campus, Athletic campus, State Street, and Main Street are all within walking distance (1.5 miles or less to all.) The #4A or #4B bus to Ypsilanti can take you east several miles and has a stop 200 yards from the house on Washtenaw Ave. The Central Campus Transit Station allows access to numerous city buses as well (visit aata.org for more.) Finally, a taxi stand is located 75 yards from the house on S. University and taxis are abundant.

The unique, campus location of the home requires us to point out that it is a historic structure and should be enjoyed and occupied with that distinction in mind.
Outside smoking is allowed. Dispose of trash/cigarette butts properly. No smoking inside of any kind.
No kegs on the premises, inside or outside the home.
No drinking games, beer pong/die inside/outside the home.
Absolutely no parties or extra guests in the home.
We also understand that things break from time to time. Please do your best to keep damage to a minimum and treat the house as if it were your own. Let us know if anything is damaged and we can determine the best, most affordable way to replace it. We’re much more understanding when damage is not “discovered”.
