  • Tamara was very flexible for my boyfriend and I! We were looking to book the night of for our road trip and she was extremely accommodating to our late check in and early check out. The bed was SO comfortable after our drive. The whole experience could not have been easier!

  • Communication was clear and succinct. Tamara had everything ready for us and has a very good system for checking in, it's easy and flexible for whenever you are arriving. The home was as advertised, updated and close to light rail. The neighborhood felt safe and comfortable. We used public transit and Nice Ride bikes and avoided the cost of a rental car. It was very easy to do and fun! We had a great time in Minneapolis, spent a week seeing the city and surroundings and wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying at Tamara's house as a great option when you are traveling to Minneapolis.

  • My husband and I stayed at Tamara's house while we were in Minneapolis looking for and apartment. She is a great host! Her home is very clean, and it is located in a quiet neighborhood a short walk to the light rail blue line. Tamara offers the use of her kitchen, and even provides some breakfast foods for guests. The recently renovated bathroom is very nice, and the bed is comfortable. She also offered us bike helmets so we could take advantage of the Nice Ride bikes available around the city (though we did not have time to do so). Overall, we had a great experience!

  • The place was just as described. I slept well and was easily able to get ready the next morning for the busy day that was ahead.

I greatly appreciate Tamara'a proactive approach in making sure that I was aware of the arrangements and had access to the house.

If I am in Minneapolis again, I would definitely stay again.

  • Tamara is a gracious host and very respectful of her guests' privacy and likewise very helpful should you require assistance with directions or suggestions for things to do. Her home is a clean, quaint space with access to a private bedroom (with a very comfortable bed) and a newly renovated, private bathroom as well as a shared kitchen, dining room, and living room. The neighbourhood is situated near several parks, lakes, and other green spaces, but not within walking distance to downtown. However, the quick, easy access to the light rail is a plus and can get you downtown in a short 25 minutes. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone travelling to Minneapolis for work or leisure.

  • Tamara was awesome. The house was very clean and easy to access. She helped coordinate me using the Light Rail to go to a Twins game and really made my stay enjoyable. I recommend her to anyone staying in Minneapolis.

  • Tamara was a great host. Her place was cute, clean, and suitable for the quick two night stay we needed in Minneapolis. She provided the basic essentials, along with an ultimately private bathroom. She communicated when needed and also let us be independent while staying in her home. The metro light rail was very close and her neighborhood was darling! Thanks so much Tamara!

  • We had a good stay with Tamara. It was a clean and comfortable room at a good location. There is a nice creek trail nearby which is great for a run. Also the light rail is just down the street making transit to downtown or the airport very convenient.

I work in the health and wellness field. I have lived in New York City, Phoenix, the Dominican Republic as well as a few months in Ecuador. I like to take advantage of public transportation when traveling and live like the locals to get a deeper understanding of the places I visit.
