The Space

Come stay aboard this lovely sailing yacht in the beautiful Channel Islands Harbor! She can sleep up to 6 with 2 private cabins, one in the bow, and one separated from rest of boat in the stern. She is tastefully decorated, and is warm and cozy.
While staying aboard you have access (for a nominal daily charge) to 2 kayaks as well as 2 Stand Up paddle boards. We can also do harbor tours in a 13 ft Boston Whaler, as well as sail and power boat charters.

You are close to everything you could wish for at this location, all within walking distance.

The Beach is across the street and you have a pool/jacuzzi for marina.

Come stay in this beautiful harbor with the sounds of the sea and water lapping against the hull to gently rock you to sleep!

We look forward to seeing you here!

  • We had a great stay on the boat of caprain steve. Everything worked out well. The stand up paddle boards for 25$ extra were worth the money since it was fun! We chilled on the boat and had the possibility to also use swimming pool and jacuzzi. Oxnard itself is not thrilling and it was a little bit annoying that we had only one key for the washroom and the boat even tho we were 5 people. But we also managed to make it work. Therefor 2 days on the boat were perfect! Thanks for hosting us :)

  • Captain Steve is very nice and accommodating. I appreciate his flexibility with our change in check in time. Boat was very cozy and clean. Great to watch the stars with the top open on the berth. The bathrooms and showers were a short walk and very clean. Pool and jacuzzi was nice too. Definitely recommend!

  • We loved our weekend on Captain Steve's yacht and highly recommend it! We slept in the front bed which was very comfortable, especially with the hatch open looking at the moon. Although we didn't cook much, the kitchen had lots to work with and the little gas grill worked great. Steve also included kayaks which we used both days. We kayaked across the marina to the beach area on the other side and walked a block to Pepe's for breakfast. Sweet! Steve was so helpful and and accommodating at every turn, even giving us a ride into Oxnard to deal with a flat tire on my motorcycle. The clubhouse, showers, spa, and pool were in great condition. The ONLY downside is that you have to walk about 5 minutes to the clubhouse for the bathroom/shower which can be annoying after a night of drinking and the need for a bathroom at 3 a.m. so plan accordingly ladies.

  • This was the most amazing getaway, and the boat is so lovely and spacious. The marina is so peaceful and we saw seals, starfish, lots of wildlife. Captain Steve was so accommodating and helpful. I had a ton of questions and he was so incredibly cool. If you're looking for a really scenic, comfortable getaway, this boat is seriously amazing. We only stayed for one night and had I known it was so fun, we would've tried to stay longer. So we will just go back again, and use the kayaks to go explore. All of the facilities were really clean and accessible.

  • The boat was very nice the beds were comfortable, Captain Steve made sure we knew where everything was and were comfortable. The facilities at the harbor were great, pool, jacuzzi, tennis courts, clubhouse with ping pong and pool tables, and exercise room. Wished we stayed longer to enjoy it all. The only downside was we couldn't use the bathroom on the boat.

  • The boat was really nice and cozy, and Captain Steve was a great, laid-back host. He even offered to help us get some kayaking equipment!

  • We had a fishing trip in Oxnard that left at 6 AM on Saturday morning. None of us were looking forward to waking up at 4 AM to drive up there from Los Angeles, so I browsed the web for some places to stay. After doing a search for places to stay in Oxnard on Airbnb, I saw that the Captain's yacht was available for not much more than $30 per person. PERFECT. Fishing and sleeping on a boat? Kind of every kid's dream.

We arrived very late (11 PM) and Captain was kind enough to wait up for us in order to show us where everything was. The grounds are immaculate, complete with a clubhouse with hot showers, a kitchen, leisure space, and a pool/hot tub. The boat itself is beautiful, very spacious (we slept 6 with absolutely no problem), and clean.

We all wished we could have stayed longer. Thank you so much, Captain Steve! Until next time!

About
Hmmmmm......I am a reincarnated explorer and sea captain. I derive much joy from the comedy that is the human race. I can sit in an airport anywhere in the world for hours on end and be thoroughly entertained. 5 things I can't live without: 1. Laughter 2. Music 3. Good food and wine (I know that's two, but I hate to break them up) 3. Connection with myself and others 4. Travel 5. Water ( in the literal sense as well as any activity above, below, next to, or on it.) I have many favorite travel destinations, but am more excited about the places I have yet to see. My internal compass seems to point anywhere that is 75 degrees Farenhieit or more and the water is warm 90 % of the year. Books - Encyclopedia Brittanica (old school!) Movies - Best in Show Shows - Any Cirque d' Soleil Music - Almost all Food - Almost all As a Host, you will find that I am polite, accommodating, and engaging. I would strive to have your experience be filled with joy, laughter, and good memories. As a guest, I am also polite, and being prone to being of service, I am still probably accommodating! I have heard I am a fun guest, and have friendships still with many who have hosted me. My style of travel is usually no definite itinerary and "let's see where this takes us" detours My life motto: Keep Learning
