Fantastic apartment in a great neighbourhood, close to transport and in a very charming city. Clean, tidy and useful facilities in the apartment, just as I'd expected. Lea was such a great host, giving me tips about transport and local sites. Her vintage store in Amsterdam was also amazing.
Very nice stay, quiet neighbourhood and Lea was very helpful! The studio is full of light and close to the centre..I will come back!
The place has an excellent location, easy access and tons of places to go in walking distance. What is really odd are the rules that the host gives you:
a. Clean, clean, clean the place including the floors: the place was NOT clean at all. I had to clean it myself to feel comfortable. No broom, no mop, no vacuum cleaner...what were they expecting that I do it by hand kneeling?
b. Wash the sheets or bring your own. What?! I am traveling for business to Europe for a month, I am not carrying sheets and the washers in Europe take two hours to be done. I wasted my time to leave the sheets clean. It costs two Euros three hours.
c. The host returned to the place twice. I didn't feel comfortable, but couldn't say no, she forgot something.
The place has nothing in the kitchen to cook properly, the plates are all chipped, everything is in bad condition, the fridge even had food decomposing. The shower was broken. There's no place to hang or keep the clothes.
I find your review very shocking and untrue. This is not a hotel it is my home.
First of all
When I returned you had the place a mess and PANTIES AND YOUR SEX TOYS WERE LAYING AROUND. I was still finding g strings long after you left.
The house was cleaned by a cleaning lady before you arrived, the shower is not broken. There are plenty of cleaning supplies below the sink with a small broom and duster and mop in the bathroom. It is a brand new renovated house. I ask guests to clean after themselves because you never know what people may be doing during their stay.
As I do live here, I am allowed to return to maintain and access my belongings in case of emergency (which it was.)
I have never had such a remarkably rude review.
Very spacious place, had more than enough room for two people, looks even bigger than the photos show!
The location is good, its close to the main tram routes and generally easy to find. There's a large supermarket a few minutes away, plenty of places to eat and lots of local shops, it doesn't take long to walk from there to central Den Haag.
The balcony is also nice to relax on, the place overall is very cosy, an ideal place for 2 people to stay and by far the best priced place in Den Haag!
