The apartment is ideally located at the heart of the Marais, a famous and historical Parisian neighborhood. Rue de Bretagne looks like a village, booming and intimate. Though, the place is very calm...
Cosy, silencious and functional, this apartment is located in rue de Bretagne, at the heart of the Marais - a lively and historical neighborhood of Paris. The Marais is well known for its cultural scene, home of various artists and art galleries, great museums (Picasso museum, Beaubourg are just at a few minutes walking distance), fashion retail stores, trendy bars & cafés and great restaurants. It widespreads through the 3rd and 4th districts of Paris mainly.
Rue de Bretagne is an animated street. Among others, you can enjoy the Marché des Enfants Rouges (one of the oldest fruits and vegetables markets of the city). Its international street food corners are just one block away from the building. Alternatively, you can walk down to the south part of the Marais and pace around its famous and busy streets (rue des Rosiers, rue Vieille du Temple, etc.).
Concerning the flat itself, you will find everything you need to make your stay comfortable and relaxing: double convertible bed with a real mattress, wireless internet access, cable TV, equiped kitchen and bathroom... The supermarket is 5-minute walking from the place. The place is made for two people. Please have a look at the pictures and make your own opinion.
Enjoy your stay!
I am used to accomodating international guests and always providing details to facilitate access. I will help you getting to the apartment, should you arrive at the airport or train station.
Interaction with Guests
Prior, during and after your stay, I will always be easily reachable. We can arrange phone calls, (website hidden) conversations or just exchange emails. I am accustomed to calling guests prior their arrival, in order to get rapidly acquainted and make sure the guests are well-intentioned.
Extremely lively, full of quality stores (food, retail, arts...), multicultural, known for its art-scene (contemporary art galeries, famous museums and exhibition spots such as the Picasso Museum, Beaubourg...). The Haut-Marais is unique.
The flat is close to 2 subway lines: line 8 ("St-Sébastien Froissart" or "Filles du Calvaire" ; 5-minutes walking) and line 3 ("Arts et Métiers ; 10-minutes walking). Moreover, it is 10-minute walking distance from République, a central spot where many subway lines converge (lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11).
House rules are rather basic.
I ask the guests to:
- walk down the trash
- empty the fridge once they leave
- not use the phone for national / international calls...
Neighbourhood was lovely, and the landlord was on it in terms of contact and making sure all was comfortable and up to scratch. Very small but the location makes up for it.
Edouard was always attentive and wrote some mails beforehand. We even had a phone conversation which was nice!
Edouard was an excellent host: very helpful and rapidly answered any questions I had. The apartment is in an excellent neighbourhood that has many restaurants and bars but is very quiet. Its close to many of Paris's attractions. The apartment is very nice, clean and well-maintained. I had a lovely time.
Edouard is a lovely friendly guy, who was very helpful and thoughtful throughout my trip & always made sure everything was ok.
This is a nice little studio with everything you need and very very close to the metro, easy to get to most of the tourist attractions. It's also in the popular area of Le Marais, plenty of cafes, restaurants and shops around.
I would recommend this place.
Thank you Edouard :)
Amazing location, in the centre of Marais. Edouard was very friendly and helpful, convenient with key handover, earlier arrival and late departure was no problem. The apartment is small (only one room) but convenient enough for a couple of days.
The location is amazing and so is Edouard and his apartment. Check-in was flawless and our stay was perfect.
With a few rentals of my apartment via Airbnb, I am an active and experienced user.
I live in a central district of Paris, called the Marais and well-known for its artistic scene.
My pastimes are various, from cinema to reading, kitesurfing to running...
I'd be pleased to make your stay comfortable and easy.
