I rent a silent and lightful room with private bathroom in my apartment, located at the 5th floor of a modern building with lift. The apartment is 100 sqm big with a kitchen, a living room, 2 balconies.
I'm will be often out, so most of the time you can enjoy it all by yourself!!
The apartment is located at 5 mins walk from Metro A (Porta Furba- Quadraro), through which you can reach Termini Station in 12 mins and all the most important tourist attractions ( e.g. the Coliseum 12min, Vatican is at 25 mins distance).
Fiumicino, take one of three options: either, bus shuttle to Termini (6 euros) ; train to Tuscolana station (8 euros); or train directly to Termini station (14 euros). From there, take Metro A to Porta Furba.
From Ciampino, take bus shuttle “ATRAL” to Anagnina (1.20 euro). From there take Metro A to Porta Furba.
From Ciampino you have two options:
1) take a shuttle bus to Termini and then back with the Metro from Termini to Porta Furba (1 hour)
2) take ATRAL bus till Anagnina Metro Station (every 15 mins) and then the Metro to Porta Furba (10 mins)
I like my neighborhood for many reasons, and I'm sure you will enjoy it too:
first of all a no stop supermarket ( (phone number hidden)) just at the exit of the metro Porta Furba,
a local open air market every morning with fresh fruits and vegies coming from the surroundings, a really good restaurant in a restored roadhouse and I will suggest you to try the best and biggest round pizza in Rome at surely the best price: 4 euros!!
A stunning attraction is at 1200mt distance:
Roman Acqueduct "Felice" ("Happy"), the most long and well maintained acqueduct in the whole Roman Empire, located in a big and beautiful park that makes you feel in the countryside... sometimes you can also see some sheeps having their promenade!.
It will be a really good spot to relax after the tyring walks in the crowded center
At 3 mins walk from home there is a small park where you will find Wi-Fi Internet connection for free!!!
Some have found free wi-fi in the bedroom throughout their stay.
Evelin picked me up at Tuscalana Station which was good because I had not much of an orientation as a newcomer to Rome. Her flat is big and tidy. She is very nice company. The bed I slept in was comfortable, the bathroom was to my sole use and o.k. This accommodation is recommendable in every respect. Easy access to Metro and all the sights.
Evelin was perfect. Always offering help when needed. I highly recommend to any kind of stay in Rome.
Evelyn was such a friendly host! I had everything I needed at her place. She had breakfast ready each morning. Apartment was close to the metro. Not having wireless internet was challenging but she had a computer there for my use. I would stay again.
Evelin is a wonderful person, her warm personality made us feel at home. Her apartment is very big, clean, tidy and we had our own well equipped bathroom, with everything necessary, like shampoo, soap. Her apartment is very close to metro, five mins walk. we had full access to her kitchen and she made us tea and coffee. she also picked up us from the metro station, and offer us a ride to the train station when we left. she also give us lots of tip for the visit the city. All in all, Staying in Evelin 's apartment is one of best present our tour in Rome. I wish i will see you again, Evelin, in My hometown, Tibet, one day!!
hello konsul and Siyu,
thank you for your friendship, I like getting a lot of communication before your arrival, you were perfect, I also want to visit your Tibet! reminds me of my land. It was interesting to me right away we had a good feelin, even if my english is bad.
Evelin was a wonderful host and we thoroughly enjoyed staying with her. She gave very clear directions to get to her neighbourhood from the airport which was quick and easy, and she met us at the Metro. She had a lovely apartment whoch had wverhing we needed, including some breakfast snacks (chocolate filled croissants). It is well located, easy to get to the central area in about 20 min. Evelin was very helpful with suggestions of places to go and we very much enjoyed out stay. Thank you Evelin!
Enjoyed my stay with Evelin at her apartment. The apartment was conveniently located close to a metro station that would easily take you to all the sights. She is a very accommodating host, I had just gotten off a red eye flight and was ready to crash but needed something to eat, because the apart. was located in a traditional Italian neighbourhood, none of the restaurants were open early, so she took me to a local pizza shop to have a bit to eat before I passed out. Tip: There is a supermarket right beside the metro station that you can buy pizzas or bread at local prices, all the pizzas were delicious and help me stay fuelled during the day, without having to pay outrageous prices in touristy areas. Highly recommend staying with Evelin!!!
We stayed in Evelin's room for 7 days. The room was excellent, very clean, cozy and convenient. The location is perfect. Above all, Evelin's kindness make our stay unforgettable. Thank you very much, Evelin, we wish to stay with you again.
Everything has been said before. Evelin is a great host, very kind, flexible and always giving you information. Very warm personality. We loved staying at her place. The room is big, clean and the beds are very comfy. Her place is in a good area, close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants and very close to the metro which will take you into town in about 10min. We defintely recommend staying with Evelin. It feels like home. So don't hesitate, book it and you will not be disappointed.
Evelin was a fantastic host! My friend and I had a lovely time staying in her cozy apartment.
She gave us a map of Rome, was friendly and fun and made us a lovely hot breakfast on our last morning, which was amazing!
The location is really good. A train station just down the road gets you into central Rome in about 15 minutes. It's nice staying amongst the locals, gave us a feel for the real Roma!
There is a cash machine, post office (for sending your postcards) all a 5 minute walk down the street. The best part is, there is an awesome Gelato shop there too, better than those in central Rome, definitely try it out!!
