Conveniently located about 10 miles from Boone, Banner Elk, and Blowing Rock, and 13-17 miles from Sugar, Beech, Grandfather Mountain, the whimsical Land of Oz, and Tweetsie Railroad. It’s the perfect base for exploring the High Country.

This 1,200 sq ft upper-floor retreat, accessible via a private, lockable staircase, blends rustic elegance with modern comfort. The lower floor is a separate AirBnB rental, with soundproofing to ensure a quiet stay.

From the host

We are 10 acre working farm, with approximately 400 yards of Watauga River access. Access is a 5-10 minute walk from the Carriage House and includes a gazebo near the water. The fishing is great!

Located in Valle Crucis, near Boone, Banner Elk and Blowing Rock, the Carriage House was used for horses on a farmstead 100 years ago. The Orignial Mast General Store is 1-mile away and the Blue Ridge Parkway is an easy drive. For a map of the farm visit: http://shulls.farm/
