Light-filled tastefully-decorated loft 3 bedroom in a luxury building with amazing views of Manhattan and the statue of liberty. It's in a charming neighborhood with wonderful parks and restaurants and very easy access (one block away) to Manhattan.
This home is a three bedroom (plus bonus loft with queen sized bed) luxury loft in Brooklyn, NY. The building has a 24 hour doorman, elevator, maintenance staff, a gym, a beautiful garden/courtyard, bike valet and laundry. The apartment is renovated and has all amenities (Wi Fi internet, dishwasher, etc.) It is filled with light and is very spacious. It has beautiful views of Manhattan, and the cook's kitchen has all new stainless steel appliances. There is a master bedroom with queen sized bed, the second bedroom is set up for a 9 year old girl with a twin bed, the third bedroom is a small baby room with a crib and there is a 5 foot loft with a queen sized bed. The couch is also spacious and we have a blow up bed if needed. The apartment is in the Cobble Hill/Carroll Gardens area of Brooklyn--one of the most desirable areas in Brooklyn. The neighborhood is filled with beautiful old brownstones and small gardens, and is a great place to be based when you visit NYC. You have fast and direct access to all tourist destinations but you get to live like a "local" avoiding crowded tourist areas when you want to retreat. The apt is next to the subway and bus. In a 10 minute subway ride on the F train you can be in downtown Manhattan, and get to numerous NYC tourist destinations. The neighborhood is great for foodies with many excellent destination restaurants (Frankies, Prime Meats and Buttermilk Channel within a block--all award winning and excellent, regulars on the food channel), bars, food and wine shops. There are also interesting stores and great shopping in the area. It is a terrific neighborhood for children with several playgrounds within walking distance, and plenty of children's activities. A short bus ride or a longer walk take you to Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Botanical gardens.
