Hakan was a very communicative, helpful and nice host. He picked us up at the bus station very early and spontaneously. When I had a cold he gave me balm to ease the breathing. The room was big and cozy. The location is optimal if you visit Selcuk.
Hakan was very nice and accomodating. He came back into town early for us when he learned we had already bought our plane tickets. Although he said no breakfast he made us boiled eggs and shared his coffee, bread, fruit etc. Also one day we had some of his spaghetti with him. His ad said to bring towels which we did but we did not need them as he did provide (a robe too). He also had the first working TV (with a few USA) channels we had seen in about a week. Nice to veg a little and watch TV while planning the next day. His flat is on the 4th floor and overlooks the aqueducts (sp?) in the town plaza. He has bottled water available in a big jug - so we refilled our small bottles. We wish Hakan the best and hope to see him again someday.
Hakan was a lovely helpful host, who actually met us at the Otogar and helped us with our luggage, then helped us back when we left. His sofas were more comfortable than many beds, the view was great, and it was centrally places. Not suitable if you can't manage stairs though (4th floor)
Hakan was a fantastic host! From meeting us at the bus stop (5 min walk to his house) to imploring us to wake him at 6am to say goodbye, he was the perfect host. Very clean and homely with a massive HD TV and super fast WIFI! Brilliant location downtown with easy walking to all the best spots. We also loved his cat Fistik (peanut in Turkish!)
Would highly recommend!
Hakkan was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to meet us at the bus station and even waited for us when the bus was late. Hakkan also helped us with information about Selchuk and Ephesus. We would recommend his BNB to others traveling to Selchuk. It was a good first experience with Air BNB's
