Luca's House is in Podere Barbaglia, an old country small-holding dating back to the 19th century. Built entirely in stone it has been renovated respecting the typical architectural characteristics of the area blended with touches of artistic masonry. The result is a small ‘village’ whose rustic hospitality has grown over the years .
Ciliegio apartment is compoused by a livingroom with kichinet, bathroom, and two bedrooms at the upper floor.
An ‘agriturismo’ or farmhouse accommodation, subdivide in Petra and Fonte apartment ,for six person and two children, and Brezza apartment, for six people, are also available for long or short stays for a total of 14-16 people, with a sauna and whirlpool.
WiFi connection is avaible inside the house and in the garden. Well accept pets. We are close to termalarea as: S. Filippo, Bagni Vignone, Petriolo, and also to winter ski slopes.
The small-holding is in the midst of the countryside, surrounded by the biologically cultivated fields of the farm and by pine and chestnut woods that are typical of the area. It ‘s not unusual to see roe deer crossing the fields at sunset or the more timid porcupines or badgers or wild boar or even a furtive fox. The area it is completely uncontaminated and visitors can see all types of birds in the trees as well as falcons and buzzards circling up in the sky, watch the fireflies in summer and little clouds of butterflies in spring. The place is ideal for bird-watching enthusiasts, trekkers, mountain bikers and not far practicing paragliding. Ideal to stage Photo Tour, or to get your artistic shots.

Not distant the sea side Argento coast(one hour by car) .
The ski slopes are about 10 minutes by car from the farm: in winter there are several kilometers of slopes equipped with two chair lifts and ski lifts.

it's definitely one of the most beautiful holiday place i've seen the last years! we spend the most beautiful christmas week ever at luca's house, felt very happy at the place with lof fire and surrounded by warmth and beauty, and very welcomed by luca - who even invited us to a christmas dinner with his friends & family. and we enjoyed the breathtaking beauty of the landscape and the hot thermal springs around. we could have stayed for a month if we had the time!!!
Luca's House is a warm, cozy and charming home in an idyllic setting in southern Tuscany. We loved it there. Luca was an exceptional host. He invited us to an authentic Tuscan pizza party, where he and his friends made a variety of pizzas (truffles! chocolate! anchovies! chestnuts!) which we ate with wine in the company of a dozen friendly people from Russia, Spain, France and Italy.
Luca's House is a bit hard to get to, but it's worth it. We were a little concerned that it might be too far from the places we wanted to visit, but we found plenty of things to do and places to explore during our four-day stay, including the thermal hot springs in Saturnia (which are fabulous and free!) and visits to some astonishing towns like Pitigliano and Civita, as well as the great wine centers of Montepulciano and Montelcino. It's a great location, and the surroundings are absolutely spectacular.
Other positives were a comfortable bed, a nice fireplace, and four very friendly cats roaming about outside, as well as a horse that paid a visit one evening.
All in all, Luca provided us with not just a place to stay, but with warm hospitality and a unique experience that we will remember fondly. We hope to be able to return someday. In the meantime, we give Luca's House five stars and two thumbs up. Arrivederci, Luca.
Luca's House is a wonderful and beautiful place located in the heart of Tuscany. The location is perfect if you are looking for the best lanfscapes of tuscany. Luca is very friendly. I recomend this accomodation 100%! It was simply great.
We loved our stay at Luca's house, a true gem in the heart of tuscany. He made us feel right at home in the landscape. Very chilled and beautiful scenery, it's location couldn't be more perfect- easy access to various Tuscan towns and villages, close enough to the sea as well as siena and Florence and not forgetting the fantastic thermal pools dotted around close by, a real highlight and Luca of course told us the best ones to visit and he wasn't wrong.
We really missed the place when we left and can't wait for another visit in the future.
It felt like a new home in the hills hosted by a new friend.
I and my girlfriend stayed at Luca's home for a couple of night. We are confident to say it was the nicest place we stayed in Tuscany. Mount Amiata has a magic charm and Luke is a kind, interesting and hospitable.
Nestled on a beautifully serene hillside, Luca's house is a great spot to escape to. Comfortable and picturesque, the house had everything we needed. The property is surrounded by a beautiful garden and if you like cats, you will find a feline friend. Luca was on hand to offer help and advice and really made us feel at home, a lovely chap.
