This warm upstairs bedroom has a full bath and outdoor space, located less than 2 miles from downtown Charlottesville and next to Rivanna Trail. The bed's a full futon, in a quiet area. Must be gay and pet friendly.
Our space comes with an adorable French Bulldog who is fun and friendly, and our neighborhood is close to downtown but not on a busy street with trails nearby.
A patio, front porch, and fenced in back yard. Rivanna trail is nearby.
If we are here or the guest comes downstairs, we will engage.
It's at the edge of town, it's older, it is away from the main traffic areas, the houses are modest to very nice, there are full trees and wooded areas nearby.
Bus stop 2 blocks away
The house was absolutely beautiful and very comfortable. It was the perfect accommodation - we couldn't have asked for anything better! Would absolutely recommend it!
I was in town for the 20th anniversary of the VA Festival of the Book. Johanna and Amy were wonderful hosts and their place was well-appointed, easy to find, and very comfortable! The booking process was extremely easy and uncomplicated. I would gladly stay with them again if I was ever in town. And you have to love Dash, the sweetest dog ever! They offered me espresso and access to their fridge, breakfast options, etc. I only wish I had more time to chat but it was such a great launching pad from which to explore C'Ville. Thanks Johanna and Amy!
A wonderful space, a great situation near the Rivanna River trail, and great company in the evening when the hosts returned from work. Dash the dog is wonderfully friendly. Thanks and hope to stay here again soon!
Johanna and Amy were great hosts. Bagels and coffee for breakfast were very much welcomed. Dash the dog was very polite also.
I would highly recommend this to future travellers.
The hosts made us feel right at home. They were warm, friendly, well prepared and made our stay a delight. They suggested a fabulous restaurant, made coffee in the morning and had fruit and bagels available. The house is clean with lots of character and located in a wonderful neighborhood. It’s great for walking and offers a variety of architecture styles for a stroll through the surrounding community or an adventure through the woods on a well established trail down to the river. The room itself is stocked with books, equipped with a TV, has a spacious bath and modest but comfortable sleeper sofa. For the home away from home quality and convenient proximity from anything Charlottesville we would most certainly stay there again.
