Regardless of us arriving late, they were sweet to welcome us up the drive into their home. Josef and Helga are a delightful couple to chat with; we were up late in their dining room having great conversation with the other guests and them. They are generous in every way and we wish we would have been there for more than one night.
À notre arrivée, Joseph avait fait un feu pour nous. Il nous a ensuite invités à prendre le thé avec lui et sa femme. Joseph et Helga sont des amours ! Le Irish breakfast était divin. Merci énormément !
We only wish we could have stayed longer! The location was idyllic and Josef took time to give us a full and fascinating tour of the garden and land. The cabin was perfect for us and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with great company and hospitality. We highly recommend staying here and would love to go back and stay longer. Josef and Helga even arranged a birthday celebration for Eithne over breakfast!
There isn't anything I could write to even start describing the wonderfulness of Josef's cabin and the stay at their place.
If you can get here, just go here and stay here.
Great accomodations, wonderful people and perfect breakfast.
What a terrific place! A spotlessly clean and cheery cabin in gorgeous surroundings. Josef and Helga were wonderful hosts!
Very welcoming host, very friendly and generous. The cabin was a very comfortable and relaxing place to stay. Breakfast in the morning was delicious, eggs from the family hens, home-made jams, fresh fruit, all superb. Highly recommended and would definitely stay here again.
Josef and Helga were an excellent host. Josef kept the fire lighted until we arrived at late night and Helga came to pick us up in the town, so they provide us an excellent experience. I also want to mention the delicious full irish breakfast that Josef prepared for us. The wooden house was perfect and very cosy and We wouldn't doubt to sleep again in his place.

About the Host, Josef
25 years ago my wife and myself emigrated from Switzerland to Ireland. At present I'm looking after a small organic farm with 2 suckler cows with calves and some hens and turkeys. We also have an extensive garden with a wide variety of vegetables and fruits.
When our two children decided to leave the nest, we thought we like to share our house with other people who are interested in nature, peace, quietness and really good food. We're always interested to learn to know new people, their thoughts, ideas and dreams.
