Apt is 1BR/1BA w/a dedicated single attached carport (a rare commodity at the beach), utility room with washer/dryer and a small fenced private side/back yard. It is beautifully furnished including lots of inspiring coastal artwork. The LR has ample seating for you and guests as well as a bistro dining set that seats 4. Also in the LR is a 32” Samsung LED flat screen and DirectTV w/DVR, a DVD player and WiFi. The kitchen is very well equipped with all necessities and many extras. The bath has a tub/shower combo w/a hand held Waterpik showerhead. There is a very comfy queen bed, chest of drawers and ample closet/storage space in the BR. The fenced rear yard has a gas grill, umbrella table and chairs and a chaise for your comfort. There is also a queen inflatable mattress for occasional overnight guests. It is half a duplex with owner, Jan and dachshunds Graham & Greta, living next door.
Guests are welcome to use/consume anything they find in the refrigerator/pantry. I do try to leave a few "goodies" like pastries, a few eggs, a small container of milk, OJ, staples, etc. to get visitors started so they don't feel they need to run to the grocery store right away. The linen closet houses clean linens, beach towels and iron and ironing board as well as a Dyson. Basically, everything in the apartment is there to make the guest more comfortable. All I ask is that you treat everything with respect to ensure it is in good condition for the next guests. Visitors have private access to the fenced area around the apartment that contains outdoor furniture and a gas gas grill. The single carport in front of the unit is designated parking for guests.
Interaction with Guests
Since I live in the other half of the duplex, I am available to guests most of their stay. When I am away, guests can phone, text or email me.
My neighborhood is a residential mixture of single family year round residents, seasonal rentals and multi-family dwellings that are well maintained. Residents are friendly and respectful of others' privacy. It is ~1 block to our gorgeous Gulf beach, ~3 blocks to Johns Pass with many restaurants, shops, bars & some of the best "homemade" ice cream you've ever eaten in easy walking distance.
Beach Trolley stop is 1 block away on Gulf Blvd and goes from Pass-A-Grille to Clearwater
Guests are asked to be respectful of neighbors' privacy keeping in mind that some of them keep working and school hours during the week. Smoking is prohibited in the apartment. Pets will be considered on a one-on-one basis.
