About this listing
Centrally located, close to Montmartre and the rue des Martyrs lively neighbourhoods, a classic, elegant, typically Parisian flat.
Central location in Paris. A stone's throw from metro Blanche.
Footsteps from Amelie Poulain's Montmartre, the Moulin-Rouge, as well as from the shopping-friendly rue des Martyrs area. Opposite the trendsetters' favorite bistrot Le Mansart.
The flat is on the second floor. It's a large, bright, three-room (60 sq. meter / 650 sq. feet) place. A classic Parisian apartment, from parquet floors to French windows to ceiling mouldings.

I was born & bred in Paris. I am happy to help you find your way around the city, for tourism, the nightlife, restaurants, shops, and more.
In addition to their bedroom, guests will have access to the bathroom (including a washer/dryer), a kitchen, and if need be a computer.
Interaction with Guests
Well, I'm a friendly and sociable guest, trying to help as much as possible and absolutely respecting my guests need for privacy.
I will usually be present (off working hours) at the other end of the apartment.
The neighbourhood is Pigalle. It is a very Parisian, popular 'hood with a long, vibrant artistic history (upsteet is André Breton's studio, down the street is Degas's) and worldwide reputation for nightlife. It is also changing under your eyes, with hipsters' bars, trendy burger joints and boutiques opening as we speak.
The metro line 2 is up the street (a two-minute walk) or lines 12 and 13 down the street (a 10-minute walk). Buses, a taxi station, etc.
From the airport, you take RER B to Gare du Nord, then switch to métro line 2, westbound (Porte Dauphine).
Can you please turn the kitchen's tap very much off, otherwise it may leak.
Patrick's home at 27, Rue Pierre Fontaine, was our first air BnB experience and we could not have another a better host or accommodation anywhere in Paris. Patrick 's home is fantastic in all respects - Location ( Blanche metro station, Moulin Rouge, Basilica Sacre Couer, supermarket, cafes, restaurants are all within handshaking distance), Books/ Music (the most stupendous collection I have ever seen), Furnishings/ Decor (Patrick has eclectic taste and the entire house was done up exquisitely with Paintings, photographs and memoirs which left us spell bound as if we were in a art gallery)
Patrick was away during our stay but he trusted us, total strangers, with all his precious possessions. He left impeccable notes for us, to settle down in his house and a friend Olivier was waiting for us with the keys when we arrived.
We could not have hoped for a better accommodation during our first Air BnB experience, but the only regret we had was that we did not meet our kind and generous host
Due to a mishap in the kitchen, four dinner plates got broken and we only hope Patrick can pardon us for this.
Patrick was very helpful and communicative. The apartment was charming and comfortable, even as it got pretty hot outside this summer. Books were everywhere around the house so it´s great for booklovers. Loved the vibe of the red room even though Patrick very kindly let me have the bigger blue room with an ensuite. Convenient location and great neighbourhood. All in all a great stay.
Patrick was an excellent host. Very friendly and welcoming and was able to answer all my questions and give recommendations about the area. The location was extremely convenient, right near the train and the moulin rouge.
We really enjoyed our stay in Montmartre. Patrick was very gracious and helpful with parking and other suggestions. Although we had been to Paris several times, this visit allowed us to see new parts of the city of lights. Thanks Patrick.
Host hyper sympa et arrangeant
Chambre (appartement) propre et équipée
The room was nice, in a great location, and Patrick was very helpful and accomodating.
This is really a delighted stay in Patrick's place. When I arrival, Patrick didn't at home. He asked his friend to leave keys to me. His place is near to metro station Blanche (line 2). It's a easy place to to/fro airport CDG and Gare du Nord( the train station). 15mins walk to the shopping place. Very convenient for travelers. His home is a comfortable place to stay.
Three days later, he is back. He is a nice man. When I leave, he help me to bring luggages to bus station and check the bus stop for me.
Is really a nice stay here. Thank u Patrick!
