About this listing
A wonderful nest for your holidays in an area deepen in nature and surrounded by great historical sites...on 30 mins away from downtown Rome. My area is totally out of the usual touristic route, so you will be pleased with wonderful sights without the stress of being in the middle of big crowds. If you like history, great food, and trekking this is the place you're looking for!
Just 20 Kms outside Rome and only 5 minutes walking from the famouse San Nilo abbey dated 1004 a.c., my spacious appartment of 100 square meters is the perfect starting point to enjoy the beauties of the area without giving up the chance to live the ethernal city. Worldwide famouse for its culinary delicacy and the surroundings, within few kilometers you'll be able to admire small ancient towns deeped in woods and delighted by lakes and at the same time have relaxing walks inside the Castelli Romani archaeological park. Thanks to the train station in Frascati, furthermore, you can go and come back from Rome in only 30 minuts (and about 3 euros) and when you'll be back in the evening you'll be able to choose among a wide range of excellent restaurants right in the worldwide famouse Frascati. The temperatures here are cool during the summer (you need no A/C to sleep at night) and quite cold during the tough season (from Dec to Feb), but you can be sure of one thing...you'll breathe the purest air in the whole metro area.
Concerning the appartmenrt, I'll let the pictures speak. Furnished with care and precious items, you will feel confortable and like if you were home.
You can have access to the whole house. My idea is to share with you the house as much as possible in order to get to know each other and eventually have some great meals together (I love cooking) if you wish.
Interaction with Guests
I'm proud of my town, so I will be more then pleased to show you around if I have enough time, or give you the best tips to make your stay unforgettable.
The house is well connected to Rome either via bus (just across the street there's a bus station taking you to the underground) or via train (Frascati train station is 5 minutes away by bus or 20 mins walking)
There's no particular rule, just respect the place with great care as it would be your own place...and you'll be more then welcome to stay and I'll be more then happy to be your special host
