You stated that you were 'enjoying your time here at the residence’ the night before you checked-out. It’s baffling that your opinion of your stay did a complete 180 because we would not organise a taxi for you. Unfortunately, Mario, you don't get everything you want in this world which is something you have yet to learn. Not responding to our last 3 messages is evidence that you have problems with communication. Or a poor attitude, perhaps?! Just because you don’t get what you want does not give you the right to be disrespectful.
For those reading this, we are located about 25 metres from the main road where there are a number of transportation options you can flag for yourself: tuk tuk, red cab (song teaw), taxi, airport bus (5 mins walk to the Night Bazaar). Most transportation modes that Chaing Mai has to offer passes this street. ALL of our guests, except for one, has been capable of organising their transportation needs without a fuss. As you may have noticed in the review, he was able to ‘resolve the issue’ on his own with ease. Then why was it such a huge problem you may ask?
Our experience with organising taxis for guests has been negative. Sometimes they don’t show up which is something we, unfortunately, cannot control. The reason why we charge 300 to 350 THB for a private transfer to the airport is that our main driver lives 45 to 60 minutes (depending on traffic) away from our space. We don’t make money from this service and our driver barely breaks even after expenses are paid (gas, car repayments, maintenance, etc).
Furthermore, the House Manual, included in the listing, shows the cost for Airport Transfers. Our space is available for Instant Booking which requires guests to read and understand everything about the listing before bookings are made, as per Airbnb Policy. It is clear that in this instance, the information was not read or understood before the booking.
