  • I loved my stay here. Lucy was amazing and had great suggestions for what to see and where to go. I loved the accommodation. The house is lovely with a nice big kitchen and dining area. The dorm room was large with clean bathrooms. The mattresses and pillows were old but comfortable. The breakfast was basic but nice to have something before heading out. You can't expect luxury for this price but Lucy made it a really fantastic place to stay and I would definitely go back.

  • The woman at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating from the moment we arrived. The hostel was very clean, quiet, quaint and very centrally located (10 minute walk to the historic center). There were 5 of us traveling together, so we shared a private room with 4 beds on the first floor and found it very well ventilated and had a ceiling fan to keep cool at night, which was important since it was June (really hot!).

  • The hospitality at this place is just 100% great. Everyone who worked at the desk, especially Lucy, REALLY went out of their way to make me feel welcome. I have stayed at many hostels and this was probably the warmest and friendliest. Thanks for being so attentive and kind!

The location is really good, walking distance easily to a cheap supermarket and everything downtown. The other guests are nice, a mix of Europeans and fellow Mexicans. The kitchen is clean, dining room and terrace are large, nice living room space. I was hot in the dorm, but I picked a really hot month, May, so that's why. They were nice enough even to go out and buy me an extra fan to help out, I couldn't believe it! My only complaint would be that I prefer a softer bed, this was a little extra firm for my taste, but some people like that I think.

Overall I give this place an A+ for cleanliness, warmth, hospitality, and VALUE. Thank you so much!
