The apartment is spacious and has an amazing view. You have a 180 degrees view over Tromsø and its surroundings. You can see mountains, the fjord, the Arctic cathedral, the cable car and the mountains surroundings it..The Northern lights can easily be seen from the balconies if it is out dancing for us.
The apartment is within town center with its many attractions, restaurants, galleries, cafes, museums and shops.
A short walk to everything.

The space
The view is breathtaking and almost to close to the town centre. But still a quiet place to be situated. The kitchen is fully equiped, so you can cooke your own food if you like.

You can see straight over to Tromsøs lovely cathedral, Ishavskatedralen, and the wonderful mountain Tromsdalstinden. It is possible to see the northern lights from the appartment if the weather allows it. We are close to bus stops and not far from the airport either, only a 7 min drive.

It is not far from the University nor UNN, the hospital.

We have been living here ourselves for 30 years and we still love it. We are looking forward to having you as our guest/guests.

Twice a day Hurtigruten, cruiseboat, is passing underneath Tromsø bridge. You have a good view from the apartment to observe Hurtigruten going north and south. In summer time the midnight sun will shine in to the apartment from 2 o'clock am.

If you are here to enjoy our mountains during wintertime , you can put your skiing and snowboard gear locked up safely outside. We also have SHOOE DRYERS for wet footwear and mittens witch is very nice wintertime. Dry shoes is a must to keep your feet warm.

The apartment is situated on frist floor, it has one balcony and one verandah.
From one of the balconies there is a breathtaking ,180 degrees view over Tromsø city and our fantactic mountains. If you are really lucky you may get fresh eggs from our hens. We only have a few ones and sometimes they give us fresh eggs.
In wintertime it will be possible to see the northern lights from the balconies.
We have a hot tub outside. It may be rented. After a long day it is an adventure to use the hot tub for sore muscles and enjoying the view from another perspective. It is wonderful all year to sit in the hot tub relaxing. To be able to rent and use the hot tub you have to make an appointment with the host in advance.

The fridge will contain fresh eggs from our chickens, juice, cream cheese/cheese, bread or buns ( often home baked) Some times there might be some more things to choose from for your breakfast.

We will lend you spikes so you can walk safely in the winter. We also have toboggans here for you to use.

We live in a quiet, calm, and cosy neigboorhood. Close to to the town centre, 7 min walk, and still no citynoise.

There is a playground close to the flat. (fotball, basket,skateboardarea, swings) Our neighbors are fantastic.
We also have no noice from the city or planes, the airport is situated on the other side of Tromsø.

To get to the flat from the airport, you take bus no 40, bus stop is right downhill from the airport, decent at Bispegården. From Bispegården to the apartment, there is aproximate 150m.
