The apartment is air-conditioned and renovated to a very high standard and has 2 bedrooms and 1 very nice shared bathroom. I live alone, so there is plenty of room for myself and an airbnb guest here. I only take bookings for one person at a time thanks.
I eat out most evenings, so after a busy day you'll probably have the apartment to yourself, unless you want to join myself and friends for dinner at one of our local eateries? You'd be very welcome.
At the end of your stay, I'll drop you at the airport or train station to start the next stage of your adventure (assuming I'm available).

A few things I absolutely loved about my short stay at Warren's while I was in Sydney:
1. He was such a welcoming, helpful and hospitable host, and I felt very at home in his place. He was also so flexible about me coming and going as I needed. And he even offered to send me to the airport! Warren is, by all standards, an exceptional host!
2. His place is literally a 25 second walk to the train station, walk out the door and you are at Redfern Station that can take you pretty much anywhere in Sydney!
3. His house is so clean. I am quite the OCD person myself and value cleanliness. So coming back to a nice, tidy, apartment every day was such a treat! And the bathroom. You need to see it for yourself.
Thanks for your hospitality over the weekend Warren! Ladies and gents, if you are ever looking for a place in Sydney to stay - it doesn't get much better than this.
Warren was a fantastic host, he really went above and beyond what I expected. He was great and warmly welcomed me into his home. He had a range of breakfasts on offer and he has a great wealth of recommendations of places to go in Redfern and the wider city. He was easy to talk to and ready to listen to my adventures around Sydney at the end of the day. As a single traveller, it was nice to have someone to share them with. He also very kindly insisted on giving me a lift to the station at the end of my stay.
His place was exquisite! It was the first warehouse conversion in Sydney (30 years ago) and there were some lovely features left from the original conversion. As all the other reviewers say it was immaculately clean, a gorgeous wooden floor (must be felt under foot to understand it’s beauty) and stunning interiors with artefacts from his travels. The room itself was cosy and private.
It was a great base to explore the city from with the majority of trains running through Redfern every couple of minutes. It was only one stop from Central station (the main station in Sydney) so easy to get to other places too. The entrance to the trains was outside his front door, which was great for when you have weary legs at the end of a long day!
I really enjoyed my stay here and if I find myself again in Sydney, I would definitely check in with him to see if he had availability!
Warren was a fantastic host, and the apartment was great! Central location, great neighborhood, close to transport, and you can walk to the city. Warren is very friendly, and the apartment is clean and tidy. Great experience, and I would stay again.
This is a very well situated place. Quiet, pleasant, safe. The room itself is small and without windows, but very comfortable and private. It is a lovely apartment. Warren was away for the weekend, so I had the place to myself and really enjoyed it! Warren had lots of maps of Sydney, and recommendations for restaurants etc in the neighbourhood, which is always appreciated. I would recommend this place.
Warren was so kind and welcoming! His apartment is just lovely and the location is great. I felt very comfortable coming and going. He was even kind enough to take me to the airport the morning of my flight. The airport is about 15 minutes away - so convenient! Walking to the city center only took about 35-40 minutes. I hope to stay again, and for longer next time I'm in Sydney!
Good host - knowledgeable and very forthcoming with information. The accuracy of the images could lead one to not understand the true nature of the bedroom. It is an inside room with no windows - a little claustrophobic. Warren is an excellent host - and was truly helpful at my departure and took me to the airport. The apartment is clean, tidy and inviting.

About the Host, Warren
I’ve been very fortunate as I’ve worked in small group adventure touring (currently a Partner at The Aperture Club) and have travelled widely as a result. Tour operating is about offering people unique and memorable travel experiences; ideally, through a more grass routes experience where you get to meet local people and really learn about their culture and way of life. I love these principles and love the way airbnb offers a similar unique opportunity; to share someones home and see and experience a city from a local's (that’s me) perspective. I find it enormously enriching meeting new people and hearing their individual life stories. I love living in Sydney, it’s one of the most beautiful places on the planet and would love to help make your time in Sydney (and funky Redfern) a unique and memorable adventure too.
