Eviedale is very handy for the beach!
We live on an Island and as such there are restrictions and limitations to certain services. Water pressure, recycling and electrical supplies. Commodities are more expensive which sometimes means prices on the island can be higher than the mainland. We apologise in advance but hope you will understand these factors before leaving your reviews.
Please note Eviedale is a non smoking site
Many thanks philippa & Ian

Evie, Scotland, United Kingdom

Evie is a small village near the coast, overlooking the Eynhallow sound and over towards the island of Rousey. We are close by the Broch of Gurness, an iron age settlement, which is run by Historic Scotland. We are between Finstown and Birsay at the top of the island, do visit the Brough of Birsay, check tidal times first.

We moved to Orkney and took over Eviedale in early 2017, having moved up from Perth, Scotland. Best idea ever. Loving life on this vibrant island and enjoying meeting locals and holiday makers alike. Come and join us in this island paradise with all the local sights to see such as Neolithic Orkney, Creative Orkney, Foodie Orkney, musical Orkney and of course wildlife adventure Orkney... what are you waiting for?
