This is a bright flat with double glass aluminum shutters and thick secure door which makes it very quiet and safe place to stay. It has a double bed, a small WC and a french coffee machine+boiler for your breakfast. There's also a fridge and a furniture where you can work on your laptop.
Lots of busses make a stop just one block away. It's located 4km away from the center of Athens and 2km from the sea (easy walking distance) .
In case you want me to pick you up from the airport or a station you can contact me in advance and check out this option depending on my availability.

The studio has everything you need for a short or long stay. It's comfortable, breezy and quiet.
The neighborhood is charming and safe with a myriad of restaurants and marts near-by.
The apartment owner, Orestis, is very hospitable, easy to get in touch with and always helpful.

I stayed here almost two weeks in early November 2012. The host is very friendly and helpful. The studio is a good size. It is located on a street with several bakeries, small restaurants and a few small supermarkets (a big one is just a few hundred meters north if you can find it). Busses are nearby (east) but the metro is maybe 15-20 minutes walk (north-west). The studio is one level above the street-level. Although the studio has double-glazed windows I could clearly hear the traffic, especially motorcycles, mopeds and the garbage truck. The host has lived there most of his life so I think he simply doesn't notice. But if you're sensitive to noise you should consider this. If you're not sensitive to noise and you don't mind taking the bus to see the sights of central Athens then I can recommend the place. The host's penthouse flat where he normally lives himself, has great views and is quieter but it is also more expensive of course.
Orestis is a wonderful host and his place was just right for me. It is a little ways out of the heart of Athens, so it is much quieter. The efficiency apartment has all that you need for a comfortable stay, including a mini fridge and a coffee pot. The bathroom is very small, very like a Japanese bathroom, and also includes a shower, so you have everything you need.
Orestis was really great at communicating with me about all the necessary information about the flat and arrival info. He wasn't around when I arrived, but he arranged for a friend to give me the key, which went very smoothly. When I did meet Orestis just before leaving, he was incredibly friendly, generous, and helpful. He even shared some homemade goodies from Crete with me!
The flat itself is clean, quiet, and safe, just as advertised. It is simple but perfectly suitable for a few nights. It is best if you can navigate the bus system since it is a bit of a walk from the nearest metro station, but I found the location to be very lively and enjoyable. It was very nice to be outside of the touristy part of town!
I agree with all the other good things said about Orestis and his Quiet 'n safe studio. Orestis is a super host who is very generous with his time, nuggets about the Greek society then and now, what to do, restaurant recommendations etc. A very nice guy. As for location, size, cleanliness of studio etc everything was impeccable. Should you need a bigger place I also recommend the penthouse which is another Orestis listing. Fantastic view.
For the price this room was fantastic - exactly as pictured, and very clean and well-kept, quiet street, good access to city. But the main selling point is definitely Orestis himself, who was a great host, showed me some great restaurants and bars during my stay. Comes highly recommended!
Orestis is a fantastic host and lovely friend to make duriıng one's stay in Athens, he is overly generous with local and regional information in helping you have a great time in Greece. The studio is calm and comfortable while also conviently located near the centre of town. I would stay here again wıthout a doubt if I were to return to Athens
I stayed in the flat in August 2012. The room turned out to be much bigger, than I could see from the photo. It is located in my favorit area in Athens, here you find a variety of shops and cafes, just 5-10 min walking from the flat. Orestis is a very organized and helpful guy, and I felt very safe living in quiet 'n' safe flat.
Orestis is a fanastic host; really helpful, considerate and kind. The studio itself is a great place to stay - clean, comfortable and quiet. Highly recommended!
