If you need a quality budget stay for over-night stays near the centre of Linköping with easy access to the university, this is the place for you! The total apartment area is 59 sqm, out of which the living room that you will be renting is a spacious 20 sqm. We have two really good guest mattresses measuring 80 x 200 x 12 cm, or if you prefer having more floor space free there is a very comfy sofa measuring 76 x 192 cm inner space that works well for sleeping too.
All linen and towels are included for your stay, as well as a solid breakfast of tea/coffee, bread, cheese, milk, muesli and fruit juice.
Besides plenty of comfortable sleeping space, the room has a 42 inch flat screen TV with 16 cable TV channels, a DVD/blue-ray player and wireless internet WiFi. If you enjoy making your own music, we have a nearly brand new digital piano (Roland RD700nx stage) with top quality head phones as well as a Landola acoustic guitar that you are more than welcome to borrow as much as you want.
The room is accessed separately from our own bedroom through the shared hallway, and there is a door closing it off so you will have full privacy during the night. The room will be your own private haven as much as you want to use it. The rest of the apartment you will be sharing with us, Hanna and K, and our little social kitty cat named Selma. K has just graduated from the Data Mining maters program at the university and Hanna is doing distance studies in paramedics and working part-time as a disability supporter. Our schedules vary with usually flexible hours in the daytime, while in the weekday evenings we are often out playing different sports.
As our guest you will have access to the lovely green communal inner courtyard including bar-b-q area and garden seating. Within the apartment you will have access to the shared kitchen and the bathroom with shower & bath tub. There is free wifi, free car parking and the availability to borrow a bike(s) for the duration of your stay. There is a communal sauna and relax room around the corner that we can book per request, with a little bit of forward sight.
Interaction with Guests
There will be a fair amount of interaction with the guests whenever we are home, though we may often be out during part of the days and usually be home only in the early afternoon and later evenings. We will ourselves sleep in the bedroom which is located across the hallway from the living room.
The best way to get around central Linköping and to the University is by bike, which you are always free to borrow during your stay. There are two local bus lines that frequent the block, no 1 towards Skäggetorp and no 18 towards Valla via Gottfridsberg. Both take 6 minutes from the central station and the local bus stops are Åbylund (no 1) respectively Skedagatan (no 18). The town centre is about 1,5 km away which takes 8 min to cycle alternatively 20 min to walk, and we often like to promenade to the centre for cinema evenings or when occasionally eating out.
Specific travel directions are as follows:
At Linköping travel center (bus/train station), take bus line 1 towards Skäggetorp. Get off at Blomgatan. Walk from Blomgatan to Kagagatan 7 Linköping. It takes 6 minutes according to the website.
At Linköping travel center (bus/train station), take bus line 18 towards Eastern Valla via Gottfridsberg. Get off at Skedagatan. Walk from Skedagatan to Kagagatan 7 Linköping.
Walking you should take Vasavägen from the central station. At the large roundabout take the pedestrian underpass under Västravägen. Walk up Hjälmgatan. At the primary school there is a path to the right, take this and follow the path to the top of the hill, that is Kagagatan. It is 2.1 km and takes 28 minutes according to (website hidden).

I can suggest K's apartment to everyone who wants to spend some days in Linkoping. Nice people, hot water, comfy bed, good location, well equipped kitchen (breakfast included),bike to use and Selma.
I loved my stay here. Hanna and Keith were both super welcoming and made me feel at home. I got lots of tips on what to do during my stay in Linköping. Very supportive and friendly hosts. There is a sweet little balcony in the room if you want to enjoy a good read. Thoroughly recommended. Many thanks.
This was exactly what I needed for a few days at a conference in town, a very comfortable bed in a cozy apartment with all necessities and friendly, helpful hosts - and at a great price. Exactly as advertised, perfect budget accommodation in a green and convenient location. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
K and H were great! They were very communicative and friendly. More than anything else, I enjoyed some great conversation about traveling and Swedish culture. Staying in their flat made me feel at home instead of being on vacation. No complaints at all; I wouldn't hesitate to stay again and of course highly recommend. Thanks again!
had a very good time with H & K, nice people to live with and nice place to live in, the location is perfect, close to the University (~15 min by walking) and the city center (~20 min by walking), they even have a bike to borrow, the neighborhood is also lovely, to the front is a park and a courtyard at the back, where u can sit and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, there is a forest close by with running tracks, overall I liked the place, H & K is a lovely and caring couple!
The perfect hosts! I had no problems in establishing contact and agreeing on how and when to get access. K & H were delightful and welcoming hosts and also shared useful tips about the city centre. The experience definitely matched their AirBnB description. I gladly recommend staying with them.
I had a really good time at Hanna's and Keith' apartment. Both of them are really helpful and they gave me lots of tips and advices to make the most of my stay in Linköping. Hanna and Keith are both very open-minded and so I enjoyed the conversations with them.
For me it was not a problem to stay in the living-room. Even though this room is open for everybody at daytimes I always had the feeling that I can withdraw myself into the room if I needed to. I would stay there again!
