Overall, an excellent apartment.
Owner present on check-in, most helpful, speaks English. Excellent location in Paris. Very clean, housekeeper comes 1/week. Great proximity to restaurants, stores, easy walking to all of Paris, cabs, etc. Excellent light from windows. Busy street below, a little loud on weekend nights with windows open but not really an issue.
Will stay here again!

This [vacation rental] on rue des Archives is in a wonderful location very convenient to Metro, le Marais, restaurants, nightclubs and shopping. The apartment is wonderfully bright, and has been thoroughly modernized. The kitchen has a new induction stove, refrigerator, convection oven, and dishwasher so -- for those of you who cook (as we do) -- this is a kitchen you can truly use and enjoy. What an improvement over the very small and functionally incomplete kitchens you find in many Paris apartments. The large and modern windows offer a wonderful view of rue des Archives below, and fill the room with lots of sunshine. The living room couch is very comfortable, as is the bed. There is ample bedroom closet space (something not often found in Paris apartments). Both the bedroom and the dining room/living room are very spacious rooms. We would recommend this apartment, and would love to stay here again.

This furnished apartment is located in the highly-in-demand area of the Marais, one of the few Paris neighborhoods to still having preserved almost all of its pre-Revolutionary architecture. The Georges Pompidou Cultural Center (also known as Beaubourg), the vast Les Halles Mall, and the well-know Rue des Gravilliers, a residential and commercial street with nice greengrocers, fishmongers, and gorgeous restaurants and cafes, are all located in the vicinity of this accommodation. A little further is the royal Place des Vosges, a must-visit destination featuring the places of residence of many historic personalities and a number of fascinating museums. The most important points of interest in Paris, like the Louvre Museum, City Hall, and the Seine River with its enchanting islands, are in a fair walking distance from this accommodation.

The location is perfect for visitors who know and love Paris. Sylvie's apartment was a perfect location to enjoy our long weekend and we definitely hope to visit again soon!
Communication and check-in were easy and the space has tons of light with very comfortable furnishings. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!
Lovely apartment in a fantastic location. We were met and had everything explained to us and the process was very easy - our first experience with AirBNB.
The only complaints I would have are that the road is quite noisy at night and the windows didn't keep the noise out. Also bed wasn't the comfiest we have tried.
But overall really happy with our stay.
Dear Clare, When i got back to the apartment, I notice that the bedroom windows weren't fully close. That's why they didn't keep the the noise out. I'm very sorry for your. But I swear I haven't any kind of complains about the noise so far. Current windows are the best possible to stop the noise. Concerning the bed, some people prefer to sleep in twin bed instead of one only bed. Actually, there is the possibility to dress the bed as a queen bed. But you should have said it. Sorry again. Nevertheless I'm very happy you enjoy the central and gorgious area. I hope to see you a next time in Paris. All the best, Sylvie
Thank you very much Sylvie for a wonderful stay in your beautiful apartment. Everything was as described and the pictures are accurate. Great coffee downstairs, beautiful food on every Marais corner, bike rental on the next street and easy to access the wonders of Paris. Thank you! We have no hesitations in recommending Sylvies place to other travellers.
Sylvie was a wonderful host. She met us at the door and provided a detailed walkthrough of everything in the apartment as well as places to visit in the area. The apartment was exactly as described and situated in a the center of Marais.
I had a lovely time in her place and will definitely look for it the next time I am in Paris.
Slyvies apartment is beautiful and very comfortable. The neighborhood is great with just a small stroll to the metro and lots of lovely restaurants right outside the door. She is a great host and helped us straight away when I was at the wrong location on a arrival and also offered us a late check out to make things easier. I would have no issues recommending this to anyone who wanted a nice relaxing stay in Paris.
Amazing apartment in the heart of the city! We could not have been happier with Sylvie's apartment ~ from the location, to the decor, to the true Parisian feel of the overall experience. Everything that was described in the listing was true and accurate; even more spacious than I expected. Sylvie was a pleasure to work with as well. The only bad thing was that we only stayed one night! Had we more time in the city I would have certainly stayed longer. We were only two, however, four could have fit easily.
