We have three cabins, each cabin has 2 bedrooms, bathroom with hot water, equipped kitchen, living room and outdoor space to relax, dine or snooze in a hammock, with the jungle at your feet.
You can rent a whole cabin for the week of the best value if you're traveling in a group or just want to have the whole place to yourself!
Las Casas Blancas is 200m from Santa Teresa beach break point and this is a surfer's paradise. If you don't surf - don't worry! There are lots of other activities and services available in Santa Teresa including yoga, pilates, dance classes, boat tours, horse riding, spa treatments and massage. Lazing in a hammock or on the beach is always a good option too!
you can move by foot, bicycle, rent cuadra, or if many people a car is the best
Great stay in a cosy place in a beautiful town. Thanks Mariana and hopefully see you again
Mariana made us feel very welcome in her tropical paradise. There was great surfing at the end of the very green street full of birds, monkeys, squirrels..and all sorts of friendly, harmless creatures. There was a supermarket 1 min away, as well as cheap restaurants and many other options too. Everything here can be done on foot, and it's an amazing area.
We stayed 5 weeks in Mariana's Casas Blancas, and we absolutely loved it. The house(s) are situated the perfect distance from the main road, so you have peace and quietness as well as walking distance to the beach and bars. Biggest critique of this listing - the pictures don't do justice to the beauty of this place at all. You have the jungle in your backyard with all the beautiful wildlife that comes with it, blue sky above and the sound of the ocean in the air. The house itself was fully functional but could use a few more basic kitchen items when we arrived - but if you just ask Mariana or Luke, they will make it happen. Also, if you need to go to the more lively Playa Carmen, you need a bike or some kind of transportation. But with shops, bars, yoga studios, waves and restaurants around the corner, we mostly had no reason to leave this area at all. Up the road is a hostel / restaurant called Funky Monkey with the friendliest staff ever serving the best meals in town. Mariana and Luke and the kids are a lovely family that always greets you with a smile, and we immediately felt part of their family, and every time we asked, they had an answer and took time to talk and a friendly chat. They are very, very, warm-hearted hosts who I'd recommend anyone staying with. Unfortunately, our own journey came to an end, but we'd both return and stay with Mariana and Luke any time. Highly recommended!
