Welcome to our private 2 bedroom, two story , 2 bath, kitchenette, handcrafted home on a one acre botanical garden in west Sedona. Walk/bike or hike to organic eateries and shopping. Close to Sedona's west canyon hiking. A short drive to Amitabha Stupa, Peace Park, Red Rock Crossing, and the Verde Valley- American Viticultural Area. Discover Page Springs vineyards, Jerome's mining history and bird watching on our pristine waterways: Oak Creek, Verde River

The space
Our 2 bedroom, 2 story space is an integral part of our home ,locked off with a hallway between our other listing with its own private entrance and parking space. The two bedrooms have comfy queen beds with cotton bedding.
Enjoy your well appointed Kitchenette and dining nook, the sound of birds in the garden and Sedona's beautiful sunsets and starry nights.
We clean with non-toxic, natural cleaners, recycled paper products. Bedding and towels are washed in free & clear natural laundry products.

We do no allow unapproved services nor extra guests beyond the guesthouse limit of four people. Please let us know the names of your guests joining you and the guesthouse has a 2 car parking space limit.

PLEASE NOTE: Do not book if you have sensitivity or allergies to desert dwellers that live on the land . We limit our use of chemical bug repellant to the perimeter of the guesthouse to the heat of summer when bugs are most active, otherwise we use, essential oils, borax and sugar mix on a regular basis. We do our best to keep them outside, however they can enter when doors are opened... Please let me know if you have any problems.

Spacious two bedrooms, two baths with family room, and dining nook with three porches to enjoy. We are continually enhancing our gardens and at times part of the gardens are posted-Private_ in order to allow new growth. You have a private garden in front of your space that is always open for you to enjoy during your stay

Other things to note
Where the pavement ends has a short earthen rock driveway directing you to our tranquil one acre garden setting. As you drive onto our property your two private parking spaces are straight ahead. You will see the garden and solar lights for guiding your way to your front door when it gets dark. It is not suitable for low riders nor oversized vehicles.

Please note: We live in Arizona's High desert, livng with, polinators insects,spiders, cactus, javelins, deer, bob cats, all of which you may see on the property or throughout Sedona. If you are allergic or have an aversion to any above, please do not book.

Located near the public lIbrary, used bookstore as well as shopping and restaurants. A few miles from our property there is a Harkins 6 theatre and across the street from it is the Mary Fisher Sedona International Film Festival theatre where you can view a conscious movie or documentary. Also in West Sedona, you will find 3 grocery stores, restaurants, shopping and best of all, many of Sedona’s trails are great for hiking, mountain biking, plant, bird and wildlife viewing. In our neighborhood a delicious place for smoothies, salads, organic juices and coffee drinks, try Local Juicery, which is at the corner of Dry Creek Road and 89A. Welcome to Sedona! Moving to Sedona in 1976, I met my husband, Jerry at a local handweaving studio. I wove and he built looms for Mary and Fred Pendelton. We began building our home on an acre we bought in 1979. We made 3,700 adobe bricks from our clay soil and began our life long creation of our acre gardens and unique hand built home. Today you have the opportunity to relax and enjoy the private guesthouse in this spacious, handmade adobe home. Jerry, a fine woodworker, designed and created the detailed woodwork throughout our home. I am a fiber artist, and love to travel searching out local handmade fiber arts, staying in unique Airbnbs, exploring the history, culture of the local artists! At home in Sedona we spend time in our gardens creating a pollinator habitat growing food as well as natural dye plants. and designing natural dyed organic fiber arts for home and body.
