The room is located in a pretty apartment with indipendent entrance. It is between Monteverde and Portuense, at 10 minutes from Trastevere and 30 minutes by bus from the city center (Piazza Venezia, Largo Argentina).
We can also host 2 people, because the single bed can turn into double, if you want :) This will made the room a bit tiny, but still comfortable, a DEAL for the price!
Marco and Silvia live there, in a separate room. They offer you a family ambiance, music and relax. The area is well served by public transport, a taxi station is located just at 3 minutes walk (as well as the bus stop).
In the neighboorhood there are lots of typical shops: real pizzerie, osterie and cheap restaurants, but also relaxing parks where you can taste the typical lifestyle in Rome. And, if you want to go out for a drink, or for good music, you can easily reach Testaccio, Ostiense or Trastevere.
You can share the kitchen, tv and Wi Fi with us. But we would be really happy if you want to have a good chat too!
We concern Airbnb experience not just like an host experience, but especially as an occasion to share, make knowledge, meet friends.
We just spent a few wonderful days with Mario & Silvia, who gave us a warm welcome! They were very open and friendly people, who were always available to give some nice advice on where and how to travel. We were allowed to use everything in their house, from a fully equipped kitchen to their properly working wifi. They always responded quickly and were able to help us in proper English. They invited us for some real Italian dinner and some theatre and the only reason we weren't able to respond to that generous offer was because of the limited time we had to discover all the countless other nice things that Rome has to offer. We stayed in a tiny, but also very cosy and clean room which included fresh sheets and towels, which made us feel right at home. Although getting warm flowing water in the shower took some effort sometimes in the midst of Roman winter, our hosts were quick enough to get it working again. The apartment was situated in a relatively quiet and safe neighbourhood, in close proximity to some restaurants, supermarket and bus station (5 min walk max.). It took about 10 min to get to beautiful Trastevere and about 15 min more to get to the Colosseum. In all, a very smooth and pleasant experience, we felt right at home! Thank you Mario & Silvia
It was a cozy, clean room, with everything I needed. Silvia and Marco were both kind to me during my stay and helpful with directions, so I was able to go into the city center with no problems. Thanks guys!
We spent a great time in Silvia & Marco's house. They are perfect hosts. Very kind, we felt like being at home.
Silvia and Marco are really friendly, hospitable and helpful. The apartment was clean and like descripted! Thank you for hosting me!
Silvia and Marco are lovely people and friendly. Clean and nice room and House.
Everything was ok! The hosts young and nice people. All contributed enjoyable stay in Rome! The room is small but comfortable, perfect for a couple who are actively spending time traveling around the city. The apartment had everything we needed. The road to the main attractions from the house takes about an hour by bus to the first station Trastevere, then tram number 8. Apartment is out of the tourist zone. Near the apartment there is a supermarket, a pizzeria and Italian restaurant. We do not regret having chosen this apartment. is a good place for so little money.
A big thank U for hosted us. It was great! It's too bad that was so short. The apartament is lovely and Marco & Silvia are very friendly. We absolutely recommend! Ciao :)
Excellent host. And very nice people. Very glad we got to meet them.
