  • This was our second stay with Elizabeth in her garden apartment and as before, the accommodations were excellent. We have family in San Francisco and Elizabeth’s apartment feels like a second home. Elizabeth is very warm and welcoming. This is a great area to stay in, within walking distance to many restaurants, parks and public transportation. Once again, we highly recommend staying at Elizabeth’s

  • The apartment was everything that was detailed in the listing and more. The apartment was in a really nice neighborhood by the University and was half a block from a bus stop. Elizabeth was very accommodating and gave recommendations to her favorite restaurants. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone that is going to visit San Francisco.

  • My wife and I stayed in this apartment for 5 nights recently. We wanted to visit museums in Golden Gate Park, tour Chinatown and some other districts, and enjoy international cuisine unavailable where we live.

Elizabeth was gracious and helpful, even supplying us with a bottle of wine and some snacks upon our arrival. The travel guides and transport system maps in the apartment were very useful. The apartment was well-equipped for short stays and was very clean. The online description and pictures are good representations of the apartment. Although the weather was too cool for us to enjoy it, the backyard was nicely planted and could be a nice retreat in the evening. The apartment has a separate exterior entrance.

Located in a residential neighborhood near Golden Gate Park, it is close to two bus lines that provide quick (i. e., 20 minutes) transport to the downtown area. This is especially nice for senior travelers who receive a substantial discount on the bus fare without buying a special pass. The apartment is within walking distance (e. g., 15 minutes) of restaurants on Clement Street. These restaurants are good alternatives to those in downtown, North Beach, etc. We tried some of Elizabeth's suggestions and were favorably impressed.

  • Very beautiful, clean apartment with a separate entrance and within walking distance to restaurants, parks, shopping and public transportation. The apartment was accessorized with everything you would need for a lengthy stay. Elizabeth was very gracias and attentive host to all our needs and questions. She made us feel very comfortable from booking our stay and all the way to our departure.

My wife and I would defiantly rent from Elizabeth again and highly recommend her to anyone.

  • I don't even know where to start. This stay was PERFECT! Elizabeth was very easy to communicate with and was very flexible for check in and check out. She's also incredible sweet. The place is amazing. It's an extremely private 1 bedroom. The bed is comfy. The bathroom has all the amenities including amazing towels, spa-level soaps, hair dryer, you name it! The kitchen is fully stocked. She left me wine, sparkling water, and chocolate, all of which were delicious. Finally, the neighborhood is ideal - quiet and peaceful next to the USF campus, with easy access into the city and plenty of parking. I've stayed in a lot of AirBnBs and I've never felt more sad to check out. I'm spoiled now. Thanks, Elizabeth!

We enjoyed our stayed at the Palace of the Soul that we never wanted to leave. Elizabeth is very organised and makes you feel welcomed and at home from the second you arrive. Everything is impeccably clean and prepared for your stay.
The studio is just absolutely gorgeous and it is in a very nice area with easy access to public transport/parks/supermarkets and restaurants.
I recommend this place to anyone, it is nice and relaxing but then also very easy to get to anywhere from it and Elizabeth is a fantastic hostess.

I am a visionary artist and teacher. I live in San Francisco at the gorgeous Palace of the Soul where I love to welcome my tribe of Cosmic Cowgirls as well as mystic adventurers from other lands!!! I have been a traveler all my life, from the time I was 6 months old and it is a great pleasure to open my very unique home to other fellow adventurers. I adore people....all kinds and all ages and as a host I will welcome you and I am willing to be your guide to this wonderful city or let you discover it for yourself. I do my best to be sensitive to what it is that you want from your stay and to provide you with a warm, welcoming and peaceful sanctuary from where you can explore this incredible city. I work at home as an artist and so have a very flexible schedule that allows me to be available for check ins and visiting with my guests if they like to visit. I live with my sweetheart, Fast Freddy Sims who is a very talented blues musician, songwriter, artist and landscape designer. My youngest daughter (18) still lives at home and my older two children come and go (23 and 20). I would describe our household as a loving, kind family who are very passionate and dedicated to creative self-expression and the arts. I have lived in Italy, England, Brazil, and Mexico and traveled to Greece, Scotland, Peru,Germany, Holland, Portugal, Spain, the Seychelles, the Caribbean, France and there are probably countries that I am forgetting. My style of traveling has changed throughout the years and so I believe that I understand and am open to travelers of all types. My ART; My art depicts a spiritual journey, the telling of a story that contactsthe viewer at the level of the soul. My art inspires others to look more deeply at the work and at themselves as they view layers and layers of prayer, hope, paradox and spirit woven together between particles of paint, bead, rhinestone, shell, bone and glitter. As a teacher, I encourage my students to explore materials that animate their sense of wonder, joy and play. By playing with the sparkle of jewels, beads & glitter the divine sparkle of imagination that lives within them is awakened and they gain access to their own healing and personal transformation. Creating in this way leads to the understanding of how the sacred exists in matter and this wisdom integrates the spiritual, emotional and physical selves. My world view is that of a symbolist. I am present to the meaning in all aspects of life. I am a trained energy healer as well as being a visionary artist and teacher. I maintain the energy of our home with a beautiful array of different techniques, including working with the Archangels and clearing heavy, dense energy with sacred sage spray, blessings and prayers. I love to add extra blessings for all my guests so that their stay in my home is peaceful, relaxed and joyful. It is a delight to me to hear how well people sleep and how wonderful they feel when they are visiting. I believe that the greatest gift of my life is the presence of other people in it and your presence in my home is a gift that I am grateful for.
