This wonderful attic room has symmetrical gently polished wooden beams. The window is dressed with a delightful Roman blind. There is an old Victorian fireplace, and the bed is exceedingly comfy, with a memory foam mattress.
If you like to sit in bed and admire the view you'll love spending restful time in here.
The house has just been lovingly renovated and decorated to a high standard. Downstairs there is a living room, a dining room and a fully-equipped kitchen all available for your use. On the first floor there is a small bathroom featuring a loo and a sink. On your floor there is a brand new bathroom with a shower and bath.
The house is on a friendly street with lots of cats (it was once dubbed Britain's Friendliest Street!). It's in the Armley district of Leeds, which is a working class area with lots of character. The house is 2.5 miles from the centre of Leeds and one hour’s drive to York, Manchester,Sheffield. It’s close to the city of Bradford and about thirty minute's drive from Haworth, the home of the Brontes.
In Leeds City Centre you will love the shopping arcades such as the Victoria Quarter, the restaurants, theatres, art galleries, bars and clubs. Also, Leeds has a vibrant music scene. It's easy to get into the city centre. You could drive there in ten minutes, take a bus from the end of the street (two minutes' walk from the house) or take a taxi for around £5.
If you have a car (you can park it in the street outside the house) or take the train you can enjoy the choice of countryside and historical locations that you can visit with less than an hour's drive, and the stunning coastal views of the North East coast at two hour's drive.
It will be lovely to have you stay!

We ask our guests not to smoke in the house.
Absolutely hassle free was my entire experience with Karren. She was superbly quick, everytime available for all my queries and gave all the info i required.
Errors are bound to happen in such arrangements and unbelievable how everything went well thanks to Karren for her way of dealing.
Though room was slightly on a smaller side price was worth the room and the room was aptly sized.
Best part was the bathroom which was compact and perfectly sized. Enjoyed the tub bath and wife was too happy about it.
All in all would love to recommend This place to anyone and karren and Richard were awesome hosts.
Great place to stay, lovely room, beautifully furnished, nice quiet house, easy to find, Karren and Richard were swift to respond and super-organised.
Big house with lots of communal areas (kitchen, dining and living room). Richard was very attentive at all times.
Karren was the most amazing host, as she kept in touch when she wasn't there for a few days and always made sure that I was comfortable. The atmosphere in the house was very friendly and casual, both with the hosts and the other guests. The room, as someone else has said on here already, is much bigger than in the pictures. It was clean and very comfortable. So were the kitchen and living areas. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone needing to stay in this area!
The house was clean and well presented. However, I was surprised at the sparse furnishing in the "master bedroom". The door could not be closed from the outside and had no lock. It was also disappointing that the advertised sitting room was being used as a double bedroom. This put a lot of pressure on the kitchen and bathroom. It also meant that it was hard to have the TV on in the dining room (the only TV available to me) while people were eating or socialising there. A front door key disappeared from my room: why was never resolved, but Karren was very uncensorious about it. I appreciated that. On balance I doubt if I will be going there again; Karren is probably pleased to hear that!
We gave Charles a free upgrade in order to resolve a situation with a double booking but it was difficult for him to cope with only having one reception room available (we normally have two but had to re-purpose one for a few days). This was a challenging booking for us as he was unhappy for reasons both real and imagined, so we referred the issues with this booking to Airbnb who very kindly sent us money for cleaning the mess he left in the room, and for replacing the key he lost. Thanks to Airbnb it all worked out okay in the end. It make us appreciate their system even more and we feel very supported as hosts, so thanks to Charles for enabling us to find this out. We wish him the best of luck in the future.
I stayed at the house for almost a month and had a wonderful time! It was kept very clean (in this case by Neil, the neighbour) and any time there were any issues, Neil was right on hand to deal with them. He even picked up medication for me when I had the flu! The house is basic, but spacious, very clean and pleasant and has anything you might need for cooking, etc. The location is very handy to downtown and a grocery store is near by. I felt 'at home' there right away, and the other guests were all nice and considerate. I would definitely stay there again! Highly recommend!

I am a writer and publisher, and recently I moved from the UK to the Iberian peninsula with my partner Chris, for the climate and wonderful culture. We've been pioneering "slow travel" - living and working in a place for a few months to really savour the experience, and then moving on. We've been working as Airbnb hosts while we do this, and our first Airbnb home in Seville was an incredible success. We chose somewhere beautiful and very close to the main cultural attractions, and our guests adored it as much as we did. We stayed in Seville for seven months - it was paradise! - then we went to Portugal and lived by the sea at Cascais, and now we are living in the mountains near Malaga. We also realised that we could offer Chris's house in Leeds on Airbnb with the help of our neighbours and that's going very well indeed - people seem to appreciate a cosy home as an alternative to staying in a hotel. We also stay in other Airbnb homes a lot when we travel - I guess you could call us Airbnb addicts!
