Selma was a great host to work with. Easy and fast communication. The apartment itself is spacious and located close to the old town and new city, walking distance to bars/restaurants, and the taxi line. Overall, a very pleasurable experience.
The apartment living room is exactly as on picture, large and comfortable. It is an attic apartment though, so don't expect large openings to the street (by the river) or to the back (with the mountains in the background). Only one stove was working (out of 4) which limited cooking possibilities, otherwise everything was there (pots, pans, salt and pepper, numerous plates and dishes). We enjoyed the central location too: 5 - 10 mn to the Old town (the Ottoman part of the city) but also 5-10 mn to the newer part of the city (Museum district which includes Ars Aevi and Historical Museum - the National Museum was closed at the time of our visit).
Communication with the host and her helper was very easy : Selma was always quick to answer our questions and easily found a solution when we had to leave the apartment really early.
The location of the apartment was very good, just 500m from the old town. The apartment itself was nice and clean but the fireplace didn't work and the balcony was nice but it overlooked the complex's courtyard which weren't a pretty sight. The pool table was smaller then expected (not standard size). Some parts of the apartment was in dire need of renovation or replacement as for example the faucets.
The communication worked perfectly with Selma and all of her helpers. We had a wonderful stay and the apartment satisfied our needs.
Selma's apartment is very beautiful and comfortable. The apartment is homey, clean and warm with lots of space and a nice view on the river Miljacka. The nice lofty living room creates a relaxing atmosphere, which is perfect for a evening chill out. The apartment is located in the heart of Sarajevo, near Bašcaršija and other sights (5-or-10-minute-walk). You'll find also a café, a bakery, a small diner and a corner shop, just next door.
Selma and her friends were really great and helpful, we felt welcome and in good hands, from the beginning until the check-out.
Sarajevo is a must-see and a »must-feel«, great places & wonderful people.
Definitely enjoyed Selma's place, we had a great time in Sarajevo! ❤️
