A very clean and furnished one bedroom apartments on 2nd floor in a quiet corner and a quiet building with only a 3-5 minute walk away from the University of Washington. It is located near 42nd St NE and 11 Ave. University Way is just two blocks over. Trader Joes, Safeway, Movie Theater, and a variety of diverse restaurants are a five minute walk away. Easy access to I-5. 10 min to get to down town normally; 20+min in rush hour. $8 per day parking in our own lot if there is a available space.

It is located in the bustling and vibrant University district. You will have access to a diverse array of restaurants, shops and activities.
Right at the corner of 42nd St and 11th ave NE and within five minutes' walking distance to the University of Washington. Many bus lines are just a few steps away and can take you anywhere in Seattle.
Many buslines take you to anywhere as well as Microsoft connector stop. Only one bus no transfer needed to go to Amazon. We have quite a few guests work at Amazon for interns, 9 min drive or 17 min bus ride there.
10 min bike ride or bus ride to the beautiful Green Lake or Wallingford.
There are 130 restaurants within a 15 minute walk including BBQ Chicken, Mongolian Grill, Thai Food, Japanese Noodle, Greek Gyro and Bubble tea house, etc.
Other Things to Note
It is on the 2nd floor quiet corner.
No pets, no smokers. no loud parties. This is a quiet building. You will enjoy the quietness here. Please recycle as much as you can. Yes, even food can recycle for compost-- the green bin is for food compost, the blue bin is for clean recyclables and the brown one is for trash.
The location, for me, was perfect and the price was great too. It's directly behind (east of) the University Inn, so if that's the general area you want to be, this can't be beat for price. Communication with Melissa was good, and she responded promptly on my first day when the internet wasn't working.
The place was clean and comfortable. It's simple, and I especially appreciated the cleanliness of the bathroom and shower/tub. Overall a great stay, and I was there a month.
A few things to note:
*If you're staying long term, expect to bring your own basic supplies (toilet paper, soap, shampoo, etc.)
*I did have internet issues for 3 or the 4 weeks I was there (slow speeds and frequent disconnects) but by the last week it was up and running fine, without the aforementioned problems.
*It's a 2nd floor unit, so important to be mindful of neighbors below - I had some DVD workout videos I was going to use, but decided not to because of the potential for floor noise.
*Street parking is available, but availability depends on time of day. Mornings between 6:30-8am, and evenings seemed to be the easiest time for me to find parking, all within a block.
Again, my experience was positive, so if you need to be in the area, I'd recommend staying here, especially for extended stays.
David is a polite gentleman. I thought we reset wifi well after we met to reset the wifi and get an extender. After that meeting, he has not mentioned any problem until another tenant told me that the wifi became unstable, then I called the comcast and reset at the both ends again, it then became stable. David stayed for about one month. It is my negligence if there were not enough toilet papers David could have asked for them. Again, David is too polite but thank you David.
The apartment was very convenient for visiting Seattle over the weekend, particularly due to its location. If offered easy access to downtown and was close to some great dining on the water in nearby Fremont, though we didn't have as much time to explore the area around the university as we would have liked. Melissa was also quite accommodating of some minor adjustments to our travel plans, and we were able to reach her quite easily when we needed to make changes.
The place was exactly what we needed for the summer. It was small, but big enough for two or three people with the extra bed in the living room. The location in the U district is great with lots of great places to eat nearby and buses nearby for easy access to downtown Seattle.
The unit was very comfortable, clean, more spacious than expected, and in a great location. Melissa was a great host and always returned calls or messages in a prompt manner. I will use her again in the future.

You will enjoy the convenient locations and quietness of all these buildings. You will also be surprised how quickly we respond to your requests as long as I am in town.
