Welcome to The Glass House. Come see what the press called "The World's Most Beautiful Tiny House" and The Today Show called an "off-grid oasis."
Sleep staring at the stars and feel the stress melt away in this glass-enclosed tiny house (just 180 square feet!) retreat, just 90 minutes from NYC, but a world away.
This is a truly special place, and many find it surprising that it can exist so close to New York. With all sorts of wildlife coming within inches of the house (don't be surprised if you see coyotes, families of deer, and every type of bird you could imagine--not to mention more butterflies than you've ever seen, depending on the season), this is a truly immersive experience into nature. But despite its small size and isolated location, it is surprisingly luxurious on the inside.
The listing includes:
-A 180 square-foot glass-enclosed tiny house, offering spectacular 360-degree views of the Hudson Valley and surrounding vineyards and apple orchards
-Lots of privacy on a 30-acre farm, featuring a modest lavender field! (Super special/rare for the region)
-Outdoor dining and lounging furniture, along with access to a fire pit that you can definitely grill on. (Note: The firepit with grill grate is the "Grill" listed in the amenities. Just so nobody is confused).
-A plush queen-sized bed with a super-comfy Casper mattress and insanely comfortable pillows
-A dining table with two chairs for sitting and eating and/or working.
-A modern stainless-steel kitchen with a mini-fridge, induction cooktop for cooking, microwave, and electric kettle. Despite the small size, it has just about everything but a range oven.
-Wi-Fi for keeping in touch with the real world and streaming shows on your personal devices.
-Heat and A/C for all-season comfort.
Also note that while the house is tiny and has a maximum occupancy of two people, I am sometimes able to accommodate larger parties for those bringing tents and willing to camp outside. Please inquire about pricing for such scenarios.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:
Q: Can I get to the house without a car?
A: The house is about 20-minutes driving from the Beacon Metro-North train station (about 90 minutes from Grand Central). If you choose not to drive the whole way there are Zipcar pickups at the train station (reserve in advance!) and Uber is now in the area (roughly $20 for the ride from the train). However, a car is highly recommended (especially if you want to explore the area as you will feel quite trapped without one), and the car-free will need to show up with everything they need for the stay as the farm is in a rural area that is not walkable.
Q: Do I need to bring towels or linens? What about a hairdryer?
A: Nope! I provide all these things. Same with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.
Q: How will I receive the key?
A: The house features a lockbox and keyless entry system. This allows for effortless check-in and entry.
Q: Is the place professionally cleaned between guests?
A: Yes, and I take pride in providing a clean home for guests. Take a look at my reviews—I think you'll find my guests agree!
Q: What's up with the cleaning fee?
A: Every cent of it goes to my cleaner, who is a professional and worth every penny.
Q: What's my total booking price?
A: I honestly have no idea. With fees included, Airbnb only shows the guest, and not the host, the total cost. This figure should be present after you enter your dates. Note that, pricing varies on a daily basis, so you will need to enter the correct dates to see your price.
Q: I am looking for a last-minute stay. Can I make a same-day booking?
A: If you're looking for a same-day booking and the place is free, please inquire and I'll try! It depends on whether my cleaning crew can spring into action at the last-minute, which isn't a sure thing. Check-in may also have to be later than the listed time in order to make sure the place is ready. Still, can't hurt to ask.
Q: I know it says "No Animals". Can I bring my small/well-behaved dog?
A: I love dogs, but there is a farm dog who gets very nervous when other dogs are around, and so we can not allow animals. This is also for your dog's safety, as there are coyotes and groundhog traps in the area and I don't want anybody to lose their beloved pup. Basically: Please don't try to sneak one in--this really doesn't end well and guests who violate this rule will be evicted immediately without refund nor exception.
Q: I'm a blogger/YouTuber/influencer. Can I stay for free?
A: No.
ONE LAST THING:I really, really appreciate that you followed directions and read the whole thing. Please put the phrase "Don't throw rocks at glass houses!!" at the top of your message so I know you did so as such bookings tend to go so much smoother!
And thanks for hanging in there!
