The house was completely renovated in 2008. Every corner of the house and garden is finely decorated. The building is in a typical Sorrentine style, made in tuff - a volcanic stone typical of this area. All rooms are in rustic but elegant style and designed for the comfort of those who live here.

The house enjoys an excellent exposure to the sun that makes it possible to enjoy it all the day.
The garden offers relaxing corners, gazebos and seatings where you can sit and read in complete privacy, rest peacefully or simply relax after one of the many excursions in the area. A small pool is available for free to guests.

Interaction with Guests
Every morning at breakfast (during the breakfast time). Normally I am present on arrival if the guest have informed me, during the arrival day, about the arrival time. In any case, the guest should call or inform me about the arrival time in order to be sure that one of my relatives is in the villa to welcome.
Noises are not allowed after 11.00pm.
I was looking forward to staying here. When I arrived at the appointed time, the gate was locked and no one was there to let me in. I waited for over 30 minutes. Then, a neighbor passed by, and I asked if they knew Raffaele. They called for me. Turns out, he wasn't home at all, even though he said he'd meet me. Natalie was home, but for some reason, never looked to see that I was there. She let me in, and showed me to a room that was not the room I reserved. Then we spend another hour or two waiting for her to try and call someone who knew about the booking, but no one answered the phone. The room I booked had someone else in it, so I stayed in another (much less-nice) room the first night. I also missed sunset and much of my first evening in Sorrento because of all the mix-up.
The next night I was moved to the correct room and was much happier there. Raffaele did give advice about what to do during the day, which was helpful. He also tried to bring me to the port one morning, but the road was closed. I appreciated his effort.
He had promised to give me a refund for the first night, or a portion thereof, but now is ignoring all communication. So be careful, and make sure to resolve any issues right away. Don't let him convince you to wait due to his travel schedule or otherwise. My case is still not resolved, and I should have acted sooner instead of giving him the befit of the doubt.
Nice little villa 10 minutes walk out of the center of town. Raffaele was a great host, made sure we had everything we needed through out our stay and drove us to the station when we were leaving - then when the train was canceled he went out of his way to get us on shuttle bus that was leaving from a nearby hotel so we wouldn't miss our train in Naples.
Villa Concetta is set in the upper back streets of Sorrento but it takes only a short ten minute walk down the hill to the towns main square.
The villa is set in a neighbourhood that seems very ordinary and the shuttle bus people that we used to get to Sorrento from Naples have their sheds on the opposite side of a small shared road to Villa Concetta.
Raffaele's brother, his brother's wife, children and his brother's mother in law live on the property and don't speak English which can be a bit tricky.
Raffaele comes to breakfast most mornings and is very pleasant and will answer any questions.
We stayed on the top floor of the main house.
It was clean and very basic with a nice balcony that caught the evening breeze.
There was no coffee and tea making equipment or fridge in the room. However there was a small shared commune fridge on the lower floor in the stair well.
The breakfast was downstairs, outside under a covering in a lovely cared for garden. The help yourself breakfast was ample but nothing special and I did wonder about the freshness of the bread and rolls that seemed to be served on more than one day. The coffee was good and the family made fresh coffee and cappuccinos on request.
The family were lovely people that tried their best.
The accommodation was clean and basic.
The bnb is really easy to find as it right off the main street in Sorrento. A 5 minute walk and you were in the main square of town. 10 minutes to the train. We stayed on the top floor, the room has a great balcony and an amazing view! The place was really bright and clean. Everyone was friendly (including their dogs) and the breakfast was a great way to start our day!
Villa Concetta and the host Raffaelle are definitely worth a visit. The house is located beautifully above Sorrento. We stayed in the top floor room which is equipped with two balconies and a nice little bathroom. The pool was ready for a early morning swim followed by a rich breakfast with good coffee, brioche and fruits.
Raffaelle is a very pleasant and helpful host that can supply you with information about hidden spots around the Amalfi-coast, as well as with king-sized portions of hazelnut-spread.
A nice stay in Sorrento. The house is really like a little "lemon tree haven" in the middle of buildings. We didn't really have the chance to meet Raffaele in person (just the day we left) but the rest of the family was very welcoming and charming. Our room and bathroom were clean and quiet. The air condition didn't work but we were so exhausted at night that we didn't look much further... I recommend this place for its location (5mn walk from the city centre) and lovely family.
