Please note that this not a hotel room with a 24 hours service which is why it's so so so much cheaper, and much more laid back than hotels. Also, the room is in a house that was built in the 1920s so while you can find so many of Brooklyn's characters in it, it's not really shiny. In addition, the pictures are taken by a professional Airbnb photographer. I love those photos but some guests commented that Airbnb photos didn't convey the real look of the room. In any case, pictures are taken for the same room, I assure you. Lastly, please consider picking up after yourselves (towels, bath stuff, bathroom mat, and wash your plates/pots after cooking). At times, guests think that the house is untidy or dirty when it's actually another guest who decided to leave things unwashed... etc. :). In addition, please be advised that when you don't clean after yourself in the kitchen or bathroom, or when you eat in your bedroom that there may be a chance that you see a mouse or roach. Thanks for reading.
Enjoy your city in the great New York City!!!

Interaction with Guests
As much as guests want. I may or may not be present during the stay but if I am not, someone else should be at home to help you when you need.
I love that my neighborhood is diverse, fun, not uptight, open, and I mostly love that I can get anything anytime of the day or night. I love that there are so many cafes and restaurants. I love that there are museums, parks, free concerts almost all summer long.
Public transportation are about 5 minutes away, and buses are only 30 steps away from my house. Parking is free although you have to abide by the two days cleaning for each side of the street from 9-11 in the morning.
To get from airport, take a taxi for $30-$40, or take the bus or subway for less than $10 total per passenger.
Lock the outside doors when you leave and when you come home please. No smoking inside the house. You can surely smoke on the deck downstairs. No pets. Also, please wash your dishes, pans ... etc if you decide to cook at home. And keep your towels and bathroom bags in your room. Don't forget to hang the floor towel after showering. If you decide to shave, please clean the hair on and around the sink and bathtub. Thanks a lot.
Natasha's brother made me feel very welcome. The listing's location was accurate. The area is very convinient. A couple of grocery stores nearby. Subway station is a couple of blocks away. The room is comfortable. Bathroom is very clean too. There's a kitchen and living room for guests too.
Very nice little room comfy bed and cheap!
Very good location being right near the subway and local shops.
I was treated very well and was offered help anytime.
I booked the room for my friend who was coming from overseas, he was so comfortable in the room. Natasha and her brother were so nice to him. He was so pleased. They were so helpful when sometime my friend went out and left his cellphone in the house. If I have to visit Brooklyn, I would be so happy to book the room for myself. Thanks Natasha
My host has a nice girl and good to me.The room and toilet have very clean.
Natasha and her brother were friendly, but the space was lacking. The room: not as cozy as expected. Actually, it was very cold. I asked Natasha for an extra blanket (which I never received), and she had to turn up the heat. The kitchen: not well stocked for cooking. No knives for chopping vegetables, no colander for straining pasta, few cooking utensils, and only three pots and pans. The bathroom: dirty, with dark stains in the tub, cobwebs, limescale in the shower, and mold growing on the walls. The left knob on the shower was missing, and the shower leaked continuously. It wasn't fixed in the two weeks I was there. The bathroom and kitchen hand towels were not cleaned or replaced for two weeks either.
I really enjoyed staying at Natashas apartment she is a great host and goes out of her way to make sure everything is ok , The room was quiet and comfortable and the bed was great to sleep on. and the shower was also great to use .I also like the location a really interesting and colourful are.I also felt really safe getting around at night.
Natasha and her brother were FANTASTIC hosts! Extremely accommodating and the place was awesome for the price!
